Question: do you think a larger projection screen for UST like this could work well with the sony vpl-vz1000es? The Sony recommended screen size is to 120" but technically it could be bigger, but it would be above the Sony recommendation. What do you think? Curious if I could get a 130-140 in screen even though it recommends 120.

20" from the wall with the AWOL 3500-LTV Pro. Ideally you want it barely off the ground to keep the image from getting projected too high.

Spectra Projection has just released their Phoenix Floor Rising screen, but it maxes out as of 120” right now. 150” may be coming later this year.

10’ ceilings. I don’t recall how fat the projector is below it as each projector has a different offset, but probably around 2’ or so off of the ground.

Sure it can, but you will need to be careful of where you place the projector in order to achieve this size. We have placement diagrams for most projectors on our website and have the 150” listed for the the Formovie, Awol & Epson LS800

I have a spectra vantage 120" paired with an LG HU915QE and it looks dim even at night. I tried playing around with the picture settings and it still looks dim. Not sure what to do, any advice?

You may have the screen installed upside down as you should have a bright image with that combination

This is a great screen with the LS800 and we are running great bundles when purchasing the two together. If it is in stock, it can ship out within 1 business day. If it is out of stock, there may be already more on the way and as a worst case, it can be shipped via air within 2 weeks of placing the order.

I’m the market for a UST projector to go along with a Spectra Projection Vantage 150" UST ALR CLR Projector Screen and a Bose 900 sound bar with dual subs and jewel surrounds for my Living room. Would you go with Formovie or Epson LS800? Thank you for your professional opinion.

The Epson is brighter and in a well lit environment, may be a better choice when going with such a large screen size. Brightness aside, the Formovie has the better image. The better option will really come down to the level of lighting in the room and if the extra horsepower of the Epson is needed and worth the trade off in terms of black levels and color gamut.

There are similar performing brands that make screens that cost less. Comparisons to a micro LED screen are not intellectually sound. It's like if you said "100 grand for that Tesla plaid. damn!" And the salesman said "Still cheaper than a '23 Lamborghini Aventador". You'd look at him like he was silly. Because comparisons like that are indeed silly.

Their PET grid material, which is not lenticular like this and has much worse sharpness and some of the worst laser speckle that I've ever seen.

Vava never made a 130" screen and the 100" & 120" screens that they do sell have inferior resolution, ambient light rejecting and black levels. They certainly are economical though.
