Wow, I guess there are a lot of reasons why you might consider spending more… More accurate time keeping under extreme conditions, resale value and prestige are the top three that come to mind. Maybe other people can add to this list?

I've had this watch for about 18 months now and absolutely love it. It perfectly hits that sweet spot of being bold and fun without venturing into tacky. Plus I can wear it with just about anything.

Got the blue version on Amazon for $136.98 back in February of 2023. Currently on Amazon (as of 10/2/2023) it's listed at $206.25 and on the official Seiko site it is listed at $275.00. So, I'm pretty happy with the look, quality and the price I got it for. Gonna try a nice dark blue alligator-style leather strap to change it up as well.

I like your idea of dark blue alligator! Amazon price is all over the place… I paid similar to what you paid, but it usually hovers around $170. I was just wearing mine and I love it! It gets lots of smiles. Hope you're enjoying yours!

never had seiko before , being 56 years old I'm old school person who believes in swiss made watches , but this design attracts me big time , i saw such designs during the 70s and nostalgically I'm thinking of buying, my question is ; how is it after year of use . this is if you could read my comment . thanks

The movement is a pretty basic entry cleaning and re-lubricating it. The Watch itself is built like a tank and I love the style and colors!

Congrats on your new watch! I believe this Recraft line was intended for the American market in addition to other global markets. It is not a design released exclusively for the Japanese market.

With all of the links on the bracelet attached I believe it will fit a wrist size of 20.5 cm. Hope that helps!

@johnsrabe - I hear you! I don't know whether the dust was under the crystal or actually on it. I looked again at the watch and I think it was me being sloppy and letting dust settle as I was shooting the video. My wife noticed this, too, when I was in the middle of editing the video. I made the decision to press forward, but it made me think of ways to be more dust free in future videos. And yes, at $132 it is still an excellent value!

It is a gorgeous watch but Made in Malaysia. It is a huge big turn off. I only go for Japanese and Swiss for automatic movements.

I would love to see a watch with a Japanese or Swiss movement in this price range. This watch is fun for me because, being mechanical, I feel like I can work on it myself. Seiko is really good at publishing the service sheet for all of their movements. I linked to it in my video description.

@@WatchWithMike Most of Seiko watches it makes only %10 difference sometimes even same price. Recently got SNXS73 from amazon, made in Malaysia. returned and got from jomashop SNXS73J1 for same price with japanese movement. Definitely you see the difference on long run.
