I bought this watch is because it looks vintage & the green dial. The only let down was it is not a screw down crown & the crown does not have the Seiko logo. Will be looking for a jubilee bracelet with gold accents & changing the crown to. I will be buying the blue dial later. Love it, ❤

Agree mate, if it had 100m or more water resistance and a screw down crown be awesome! Love it glad you like it and enjoy the watch. It’s truely a gem 💎, would be absolutely good watch for them to “reissue” one day. Maybe in a smaller size, it will be a massive hit!

Bought it off Amazon. Came today. Needed a 70's style watch to add to the mix. It definitely wears larger that my Turtle. The crystal is absolutely huge! Love the look of it! It will attract attention on your wrist for sure.

Wow, I'm glad I got this watch when I did. Amazon had the best price at a little under $140. But now when I look at it again the price has jumped to $250!!! Why would it suddenly go up that much?

@@perry8181 hey mate, as I previously commented, based on my humble opinion the whole line (Recraft) is getting discontinued so really not surprised mate, supply has drop significantly and soon enough it will go up even further, probably $350 one day…..

I started out with my first job buying myself a Seiko turtle in the early 80's. (Talked myself out of a gold dial Pouge not long after because who needs more then one watch? Oh, the short sightedness of youth.) A couple year later I decided I needed a dress watch. Bought a 2 tone Sekio Quartz Chrono. Was very happy with Seiko. Wife got me a black dial Sports 100 Chrono as a wedding gift that was sadly lost a few years later. The "Dad years" found me not being where my money was going. Got an odd watch here or there. But not Sekios. A year ago I got my watch graveyard up and running. Got gifted a 12 slot watch box and started buying a watch here and there. For some reason I wasn't really looking at Seiko. Not a lot in the 5 line interested me much and some watches I did see were a bit out of my range. But decided to look again and glad that I did.

Suddenly I remember that it reminds me of a scene in one of Bond movies of the 70s I believe, the one with the big asian guy that used his hat as a weapon, he threw it and cut things, well if I remember correctly the secene is filmed at a bank vault and the round entrance,the squared vault and gold some where around! I think that’s it! 👍🙋🏻‍♂️🇵🇷

Hi, how easy is to get a perfect wrist fitment of that 'beads of rice' (BOR) strap? Mine is a 6.75" wrist circumference and apart from Milanese mesh straps (sliding/adjustable clasp for a perfect fit), I find many steel straps to be a little difficult to achieve a desired/comfortable fit on my wrist. Are there micro adjustments on the clasp after removing a few links? I also like the 'shark mesh' style steel bracelet but my fear is the fit.

Hey mate yes there are few micro adjustment. But I get your point mate; fitting bracelet itself is easy but to find the “perfect fit” is not, I think that’s a common problem for all bracelet. Micro adjustment on the clasp is important and all these clasp do have that z
