Hey mate before you cleaned your starter motor did your prado sound kinda like a flat battery like it was struggling to kick over and then finally after a few trys it would start

Yes. Like there was a long delay before the solenoid click. It might not do it the second time, but if it's cold and you know the battery is good, this could be your issue.
