Good progress. Since your getting animals, take that wood and make feed boxes out of it. We did that all the time. Lasted long time in a barn. Just a thought.

On a more funny note: 😆 I noticed that you have plugged in your saw. Hmmm it must be because of your current barn home project that the plug has its video documentation...several times 😁

Cut the 2x6 scrap to 2 or 3 inch lengths, glue and clamp it together, sand the top and bottom (end sides) and make cutting boards. Even if its split or warped clamping with glue will bind it together and make something you and other's can use. Great Christmas presents, etc.

I bet the AC feels good in the tractor? Looks like you got it going on.

AC is a blessing with as hot as its been, I almost didn't get a cab tractor do to the extra expense. It was actually my wife who convinced me to get the cab, soooo glad she did.

@@TKCL With all the open space you have I think she was right. Most of my place is woods so I don't need a cab, all the windows would be busted out. LOL

why can't those short pieces be used instead of the middle 2x6 ? they will be sandwiched between 2 full length boards and glued and screwed . should give you the same strength with a-lot less wastage

Have not thought about it that way. I also need to measure them, they might work for my shorter front walls that my doorway is in.

Looks like the reciprocating saw works better for cutting those wedges out. Can the scrape wood be used to build some storage shelves in the shelter?

That saw does work better, I'll keep finding better tools and ways as I progress through the build. Yes some of the scrap is in good enough condition for small shelving.

All those short pieces may come in handy after you get into a few animals for building possibly stalls or whatever in the end of you shelter where the animals will go. Just a thought, i never through pieces like that away, they always seem to get used for something.

Yes at some point they might get used, just need to find a place to store them out of the weather and my way.

Well still waiting to see our first Storm, end of July and Aug. they are saying 16 as always I hope they are wrong, I am ready, good Video like i said before it's good to have a place to go when the big winds happen, have a great day, stay safe and stay cool, oh our Food Drive is going to Perry real soon.
