If you hit 58 with stock speed pinion on 3s that's amazing...obviously it's not going 65 from watching it..motor is struggling..it happens with cars,boats and planes...there's a sweet spot for every power setup and you geared to high...

You need more room probably cause I heard guys getting over 70mph. It's been the best buy and funniest little guy. Traxxas XMaxx is supposed to be making a mini XMaxx can't wait to see how close it is to the Rlaalo rog1 rc 1:14th nice video

I got 60 on mine with a 29t pinion stock everything besides receiver. BUT i used a different 3s battery.

can't seem to get it higher but that maybe bc of the lipo as well.

I betcha could put a 10bl120 in there and run that little motor on 4s and get that 70mph from the little Rlaarlo. It might not do it forever but as long as you watched temps it should be fine for a few runs.
