@dennisking807 hi I'm just wondering are you shooting slugs with a 500 mm Barrel? It's said that a 500 mm Barrel is not the best Barrel in terms of shooting slugs. Also what's your opinion in terms of a 25 caliber in a 30 caliber for long distance shooting. The 30 caliber should have a lot more energy at a certain distance but possibly when you get around longer distances like 200 yards because of the heavy weight the FPE / energy might drop as compared to the 25 caliber. This is all complicated stuff it has to be tested out I guess but I'm sure somebody has done it

I feel you brother. I had this fx compact 22cal for a while the accuracy was off the record mind-blowing. I sold it for the brocock ghost, and that was a big mistake. But the bright side is, I am buying fx compact bronze version next month 🎉😅

Awesome video and shooting I adjusted my reg to 200 bar on the first and I noticed that I had a leak coming out of the atmosphere hole for the first reg ....I ordered some 0rings from fx usa hopefully they get here soon it's a very slow leak didn't notice because I was shooting my gun like almost every day then I put it up filled to 230 and I noticed that I after week and a half that it was down ten so I did a leak test and found coming from that first reg is irritating anyway thanks for sharing bsafe man great shooting again

Nice bro! Nice clean compact! I like what you said about the 500mm barrel being stiff and really it would or dods eliminate alot of the nead to use any kind of barrel harmonic devises and rails for barrel stiffening! Great shooting by the but it helps having such a nice piece of equipment 😂 im from Ca.and have killed million probably ground squirrels in my day with every kind of air rifle but now live im Missouri where we are not such a target rich environment 😂!

yes the moderator does slightly touch the bottle at times. their are many options that allow for slimmer moderators. I have not shot slugs out of this setup but I do know that it does pretty well with slugs.

I love my 500 .25. I shoot mainly 25 grain pellets and Neilson slugs up to the 38 grains in mine. I opted for the single 580cc 300 bar tank and the DFL Koi. I Get right at 185 shots per 300 bar fill. I'm shooting between 904 and 940 fps. AS far as scope I decided on the Arken 6x24. I have all the Saber accessories and such including an Accutac bipod. the gun weighs 13 lbs. however. It makes me think maybe I should have went and bought the scope you have. I think it would have made it a pound or so lighter. I think Arken just came out with one that's a pound light as well. 13 lbs. is crazy heavy for a air rifle, in my mind anyway. I love your videos. Thank you

that sounds like a sweet setup brother. I have the 4-16 element helix on one of my other compact rifles and id actually prefer that one for a light setup. element optics also came out with a lighter titan which is another good option. thanks for tuning in brother.

I’m going to be purchasing an FX Impact Mark three but I want to shoot UGGs either 25 caliber or 30 caliber so in that case is the only thing that I need is to purchase the heavy liner? Is there anything else that’s important to purchase? I don’t want to go crazy with modifications.just the essentials. I think I might try a harmonic balancer. I want to shoot long distances like 300 yards maybe even further if possible.

I bought a used Crown 1st gen in 25. Had the 380 and a 600 barrel. I’m slinging the 25 gr Jsbs at 900 fps with the 380 it’s crazy accurate and I’ve run out of squirrels completely.

Any tips to tuning this to max possible power? I have the slug kit, tungsten hammer light spring but it still feels the same

not sure for a 500mm. but if you have a 700 with a tungsten try setting your hammer spring tension low, set your reg at at least 175bar, then work your hammer spring tension up from there. this will allow you to get short Burts of air that will close the valve before your slugs leaves the barrel.

You can get the same power or precision from a 500 or 700 if you put in the work. Your barrel is rigid because your donny appears to be rubbing on your up sized bottle..

I don't know if anybody has already updated you or informed you on this video. Your compact 30 cal, your moderator is riding on the tank. You should get a different moderator so that you can have a barrel that isn't pinned. Outside of that good video.

Their is only a hair of space, but pretty much yes. most likely will run a different moderator because this can change the point of impact depending on how I'm resting the rifle when taking a shot.

Great Video, I have an fx impact m3 compact 22, I'm converting it to 30 and I'm trying to recreate your tune, I set my firt reg at 200, second reg at 145-150, Macro wheel on 14 and micro adjuster on 4.5, but when I try to put my valve adjuster at 6 lines I have the valve knob tuching my shroud and I can't get it to 6 lines, can you help me please ?

Pretty good video! Just a tip for your scope cam footage. If you adjust your diopter out it will clear your reticle up in the scope cam videos!

I noticed your bottle up against your moderator almost looks like its pushing your bottle down is that an illusion I would think that would cause clipping I’m just curious thanks love the channel btw

thank you for your comment brother. the moderator does slightly touch at time but no harm done and it shoots perfect as you can see. clipping usually happens when the moderator does not fit the threads correctly causing the moderator to move loosely
