Bro these 600 elo GMs in the comments saying this guy's a cheater are nuts, this is just some exceptional and creative 1500 elo play, ive myself had some games where i had 95% accuracy and an estimated elo of 1800-2200 with ideas more creative than this, and the games didn't end short either, they went atleast to late middle game, and some to the endgame Stop accusing people of being cheaters without concrete proof (exception for blatant cheaters)

Your poetic talent is no less brilliant than your chess acumen.

I don’t know why so many people think that he was cheating 😂 1500 is very capable of a lot of great games. His rook sac in the 2nd game might have been one of his best moves in either of the games and he calculated for nearly a minute. 1500s should be this much stronger than 1300s . I bet guy has some experience. In the first game he uses the concept of applying pressure to pinned pieces to a beautiful degree. In the 2nd game his opponent moved the bishop 3 times in the opening. Of course he’s going to under a big attack in a longer time control game.

there is no way he is not cheating, his play is obviously suspicious, find a brilliant move and then finds an even better one after.. i dont think anyone is capable of that type of play as consistent as was seen in the video except engines and grandmasters, this guy is obviously either an anonymous grandmaster or a cheater

Good games, no reason to think opponent was cheating as some of his moves were good, but not incomprehensible.

I wish it isn't a cheater. Because i am happy that you enjoyed the games!~

are you like 100% you did not play a cheater? It really looks like you did.
@ex-cringemaxxer3 ай бұрын
exactly what im saying, the only mistakes he made in those 2 games are mouseslips for the still, best moves.. no human ever can play this brilliantly and perfectly except grandmasters and engines obviously

Your opponents play proves even further that chess is an art form. Being a 1500 player I've faced some opponents like this that make mind blowing moves. Today's 1500's are the 2000's of old...except me😂

Well, I dont wanna be that guy, but this play from your opponent was very suspicious. Both brilliant moves, plus Bh5 and Rh5 whilst over examples are not 1500 level at all. Edit: I just realised they thought for 26 seconds on gxh5 with over 8 minutes on the clock. No human would play that move that fast. Maybe at master level, definitely not at 1500 level. G3 also completely ridiculous move in 11 seconds

Very 'interesting' games by your opponent.
@adamkubiena19123 ай бұрын
i mean its probably a cheater when you look at his time its always around 8-12 seconds and he doesnt always has to play the best moves they sometimes they play second or third option so they don’t get banned so easily. And some of the moves were proper stockfish moves…you did pretty well tho playing a cheater

When you doubled his pawns in the second game, you have to realize this benefit black as he has an open h file for his rook.
@thrrappid9373 ай бұрын
Black wanted to castle king side and his play made it obvious. Additionally it was the best move on the board since there was no other way to protect the pawn on d5. Bf4 was covered by the knight that he captured. Some players prefer to play on open files but that was both objectively the best move and practically the best move in this situation.
@Natorz1113 ай бұрын
@thrrappid937 Im taking general terms.. the guy sounded happy to double the pawns of his opponent, but that specific move generally benefits the side with the open rook. Whether it is the best move in the position was not the point. If someone captures a queen with a rook, the best move will often be to recapture the rook (if possible), but the sequence still benefits the side who won a queen.

Firstly I think it's great you didn't once mention cheating in the video! People are wayyyy too quick to jump to conclusions these days, and I think a lot of high profile pros doing it doesn't help. I took a look at the account. They are now rated 1619 in rapid, so are a touch underrated here, though not by a lot. Worth mentioning they are in the 800s in Blitz. Two games after playing these two games they lose (interestingly, it's another one where their knight is attacked by a pawn but they don't move it), but other than that they win 10 games in a row. However, I can also find an instance of them losing 7 games in a row. Having a quick scan of these games they castle pretty early in all of them except 1 - I feel like they aren't pushing pawns in the same way but I haven't looked too closely. I am 1500 and there are some moves here that I would never think to look for. Like you say in the video, mostly human's would just take the material when on offer. That said, I am not a very creative player, don't look for pawn pushes enough, and probably over value material advantage. So I am the very antithesis of your opponent here in that regard! :) I think they are either a very creative player who likes to not castle, sac pieces, and find pawn pushes instead of taking material or defending their own material, or they are getting some help with these games. In that last game not taking the rook at the end is.. pretty wild. Finding g4 and then g3 afterwards.. I would struggle to find this in a puzzle after 5-10 minutes let alone in a game with a shiny rook just sitting there ready to be taken. I really don't like any kind of accusations based on single games, if they did this without any help then that is incredibly impressive to keep up that level of accuracy and creative play over 2 games spending only ~5 mins in both games for a 1500-1600 player. And they could teach me a LOT about attacking chess and how to maximise an advantage.
