MP, what’s your review on the amber lights for foggy/snowy conditions? My wrangler has LED headlights, fogs, floods.... it’s impossible to see in foggy weather and it’s a scene out of Star Wars in the snow.

Fog and snow are very reflective. You want to have your lights as low to the ground as possible. The stock fog light location is good. Any lights near your field of view, like windshield lights or roof lights are the worst to use. Avoid using them in the snow/fog. Flood lights are terrible for fog and snow. They throw light everywhere and not a focused beam. It really depends on the quality of LED lights you have. They are not all created equal. Most of the $100 cheap eBay/Amazon lights are just absolutely terrible for any road use and dangerous to you and other drivers by blinding them. If you have to drive in snowy/foggy weather often, spend the money on quality fog lights. Lighting is a safety feature and not worth risking your life on cheap lights. Look at Diode Dynamics SS3 SAE Fog pattern lights. They are legal for road use. The fog pattern creates a very wide light with a sharp cutoff as to not throw the light everywhere, which blinds oncoming traffic and reflects off the fog back at you. No I haven't had issues with the actuator but I am still having issues with a position sensor that is located on top of the transfer case. I need to drop the transmission to fix it 😩

@@Maxx.Powell honestly, if it was still working after getting wet and you pulled the battery out ASAP, it’s probably fine. I’ve seen people fly the new Mavic’s in some pretty heavy rain. Don’t worry about the motors getting wet, brushless motors are waterproof. The only part of the motors I’d be worried about is the bearings getting silt in them. You can completely submerge the motors to rinse sand and silt out, just do it in distilled water because distilled water won’t conduct electricity, there’s still LED’s and antennas at the end of the arms. Desiccant is exactly the right call, you’re probably good. If not, shoot me a message!
