jonghyun smile was too hot and bright. That's why nobody could actually sense his pain. He exuded so much art and beauty in everything he did that people thought it was only a different dimension of him and not his way of asking for help because he was being kept in an environment that was destroying him. :'( Why couldn't SM give Jonghyun some vacation? Why this man couldn't be able to date who he loved? Why they kept him far from his family? :'( He was too perfect. I think this is why the stupid therapist blamed him for his feelings and his exhaustion. :'( I will never stop feeling pain. I will never blame Jjong, because he was and forever will be someone I love with my soul. I blame his country citizens for sustaining a system where they don't know how to help each other and have zero information about something so concerning like mental health. Jonghyun wasn't sick. He was just overwhelmed by those who couldn't understand him and those who judged him badly to the point of making this perfect man to doubt himself and make himself guilty for things that were never wrong inside him. AuraAcqua - Okay stop the over-dramatic monologue. You obviously are a new fan or casual listener because Shawols knew about his depression for a long time. He never hid it from the public and was the most emotional one out of the group. His members knew especially Onew because he has depression also and took his death the hardest. His mother and sister knew as well. If you never knew this then you are not a fan. He made the decision to kill himself because he felt alone and empty inside. Going on a vacation doesn't cure his depression, it still hung over him no matter where he goes. He had depression which is a real mental illness. To deny that he didn't really have it, is a bold-faced lie to yourself. He knew what he was living with, you don't. You don't know his mind from adam obviously. If he wasn't really ill, he would still be alive. He tried to seek professional help but it didn't work. Even the most competent therapist can't stop someone from killing themselves if they really want to. He wrote his last letter explaining his mental and emotional anguish and gave it to a close friend so she can share it with everyone. A few days letter he left home and found another place to carry out his final exit. He had his phone off and couldn't be located on time. His sister alerted the police to find him. They were too late. No one could save him. The fans couldn't do shit for him and you are no help either.
