Mr Coates, Thank you for taking the time to make your videos. My wife and I really enjoy watching them. She thinks your much better than the "Tree House Guy". Best wishes, Colin and Sharon.

Thanks brother...I’ve picked up some cool tips from your channel to increase efficiency...I’m an arborist from South Carolina... I have worked a couple seasons in Alaska and the trees were similar

Well done Reg. I appreciate seeing the deliberate movements while making the cuts, very efficient and safe. I can only imagine the amount of movement in the tree after you strip out all the limbs being that high up. Thanks for posting the video, be safe. Randy

Always amazing, Reg! Thank you so much for beeing such a great Arborist. One of the bests of the world! I've been learning so much with you since I became an Arborist here in South Brazil! Best Regards
@jeffadams45907 жыл бұрын
Marcelo Chaluppe To become an 'Arborist' one must be certified, study hard and take many courses to become a CERTIFIED ARBORIST. Reg here is a CLIMBER, if he were an arborist he would have told us. He is a climber. Big difference. One is a tree remover, the other an expert in maintaining tree health. And one more thing before i go, an arborist WOULD NOT wear spikes in a LIVING TREE FOR PRUNING. You cant just call yourself an arborist because you cut down a few trees and chip them got it?
@bobbylight6116 жыл бұрын
Actually, you can be an ARBORIST without become certified. An arborist is someone that performs tree care including removals and preservation. The difference between an ARBORIST and a CERTIFIED ARBORIST is the formal training from an organization. So before you go chastising someone, make sure you have your facts straight.

Nice! What's your opinion of the Husky climbing saw? I love mine but a lot of people slag them off. It needs gentle treatment compared to the 200 but still a great saw! Geek rant over!👍
@Recoates7 жыл бұрын
Its a good saw, post 200 T era. Not got the same power, but a good effort from Husky, and great fuel economy.

nice one ol chap...with a view like that who wants to come down...how many branches you set up at one time before zippin em out?? just wonderin. You are a true professional.
@Recoates9 жыл бұрын
+arborist460 I have about 12-13 slings at a time. Some trees you can set them all up, others you cant, depending on how congested it is and if the previous re-direct helps or hinders the next branches in line....sometimes it works better to just sling the stuff part way on one side first, then the other. Depends on the tree.
