I remember in 1990 when Robert Taylor homes was very close to old town a guy came walking down from there into old town and approached me and asked me for chump change. It was on Schiller. I told him I didn’t have any and he said” Bitch! This is a stick up!” I ran and was running in a zig zag motion and flagged down a taxi. It was late at night. They tore down the Robert Taylor homes and was best thing for that area. I love old town. .

Robert Taylor Homes were not close to Old Town. They were located on the South Side. You mean to mention Cabrini Green. Both housing projects are history.

Chicago is up north. I , wife and three kids + help are coming home in the winter. Where the fuck do we suppose to place dirty shoes, wet coats, hats, gloves, scarves? Such that coats and shoes are getting dry by next morning. Perhaps right on the floor next to that white sofa. However we have 10 sinks, 15 tables to sit around and wine display right on the ground floor.
