Simply wonderful Rob, when I decided to build another “train set” as my mates back home call it after moving from England your channel was the 1st one I subscribed to for inspiration 👍👍

Hi Tony, Not sure how layout turned into tainset but I have heard that before. That is great to hear, I aways think about the person out there building a layout for the first time like I did once upon a time. I made every mistake in the book and I came from an engineering background. I understand how it happens. Since you follow me, you probably haven't mad any, tee hee. You can do anything without making a mistake once in a while. That is how we are programmed to learn. Thank you so much, Rob

Always a inspiration for me personally to move forward. Starting a layout for the first time at the age of 71 and now 78 you kept me going. Thank you Rob

Hi David, Good for you. I hope to be still creating and building when IU am 78 and it is not that far away. I am 73, soon 74. There are so many aspects of layout building to explore. I cannot imagine one would every run out of things to get into. Thank you so much, Rob

Hi Al, A bit of a retrospective. Just random images from my phone over time. I always shoot a few pictures of anything I work on so I can see what it will look like through the lens. Once again, thank you so much for being a great supporter of the channel and always positive. Thank you my friend, Rob

After all the great efforts that you made on this incarnation Rob, I hope it's still giving you great pleasure to run and you're not wanting to tear it up anytime soon. At least you have your N gauge to keep the creative juices flowing! You certainly made some great trees 🌳

Hi Mark, Sorry to report, I sold the n gauge layout. I got a good price and I needed the space. I am dreaming at times of a new layout. Not soon, but someday I expect. I know what I left out of this one. I love making trees. I will get the bug for them again, I am sure. Thank you so much, Rob

Nice layout scenic wise. My concern is this:- Why are your trains running right hand on double track, passing left side to left side when the majority of British trains run Left hand passing right side to right side? Now I don`t know where you live but just by looking at some British Railway films you will see what I mean!

Hi Chris, It may seem confusing but one of the lines is a freight line and it is signaled for running in both directions. The other two lines are express passenger lines and they run as you have outlined. Sorry for the confusion. Thank you for your thoughtful comment and watching my video, Rob
