Taking a quick look at the mud guards to plan the work needed on repairing them and preparing them for paint. One is going to require some remedial work.

G Day Gordon, I would replace them, The first guard is an original, you can just buy new skins if thats the way you would like to go.

Mine also have that ridge that you can see, I don't know why it's there. Your wings are much better than mine, it's Taking forever to fix just one, I hope to upload another video soon of the final weld on the first wing. Great video thanks for posting.

I used seam sealer around all sections of frame and rolled edge before painting And mine were brand new....
