Nice cleaning. :) I had a same case where the liquid metal found its way between foam and counter plate and escaped on the same corner. Luckily only touching the heatsink plate and not the mainboard.

No isopropyl in the syringe. The syringe was just an empty liquid metal syringe that I used to draw up some of the excess liquid metal. Isopropyl in the spray bottle and canned air to help push the liquid metal from beneath the ICs.

Wouldn't it be easier to get the main section of liquid metal clean and then use air or an ultrasonic cleaner to clean the rest?

Nice work, for liquid metal just at the side under the APU I use a post-it dipped in IPA. Works a lot better than trying the wip it out with a cotton swap.

Jezus, that has to be the biggest spill in history😂. I have had one all over the encoder and surprise it worked after cleaning. Lets see if youre that lucky

Hello i got one with the white light checked the hdmi port looks good from the outside and the pins are all connected check with scope also did some readings around the hdmi chip and all seemed ok i didn't see that the ethernet port connection had ripped traces going to the big chip can that cause a white light as well or not

I noticed you use the keysight U1252B multimeter, but also the keysight U1253B. Which of these two multimeters do you prefer to work with? There is probably only a difference in the display. I am considering buying a multimeter ... U1252B or U1253B.

They both work equally well, I just enjoy the look of the OLED display. No backlight needed.

Did you ever had a ps5 wich would crash when playing ps5 games but ps4 games still work flawless? I have one and cant figure it out. Replaced the controller IC but didnt work. It showed error 108255-1
