Another option is to colour match the little frames with spray paint. Then add a little coloured resin to form a background. Then once cured, add dried flowers and coat in clear resin, giving you a tree filled with flowers. For a child, you could pop in miniature toys such as tiny fairies or animals. How sweet would that be. A lovely project Julie that gets the creative minds working. 👏🏻🌺🌴

That is one exceptional mold, Julie. I like the idea of doing one for each season. Families grow and pictures can be updated throughout life with a different tree depending on the “season”.. of course some families might need a much bigger tree for their winter of life! 😊

I liked the idea of seasons. You just did the Winter one, Spring would be yellow and green with a light brown trunk, Summer would be pink and purple with a gold trunk, and Autumn would be red and orange with a dark brown trunk. In my mind's eye, I would display them in a long horizontal space, like a long a hall. I think the rainbow of colors would make me happy every time I passed by. I hope to buy this mold some day! ~~~^..^

Now you make these beautiful molds that we all can't wait to purchase. Would it be possible that you show us how you make your molds now verses how you made your first ones?

Gorgeous! I made one with the autumn look. This one is the winter scene for sure! Was thinking you could use mini magnets embedded in the leaves when you pour the resin and then magnets on the mini portraits. ❤😍
@fairyspunfibers90982 жыл бұрын
Oh! What a clever idea, Monica! 😊
@joallawestervelt69182 жыл бұрын
I think you could set your tiny magnet on the leaf, dust with the same color of mica powder as the leaf then pour your resin in the mold and put the other tiny magnet on the picture frame. Theoretically should work, right? 😊

I’d like to buy your molds. From USA. I have seen them on eBay Australia. Need to know if they are anywhere besides ebay. Shipping cost estimated to Wyoming USA.
@joallawestervelt69182 жыл бұрын
@@yellow2615 I live in the USA, have ordered many molds from Julie. No it is not cheap in shipping but remember two things, one the prices and such on the website is in Australian dollar, so in US dollar will be less AND most of all, you will not regret paying and receiving a mold that will not disappoint you. The molds she has made are very sturdy. She has a few that she did not make that are thinner but very few of them. Her molds are quite heavy. So no regrets in the order from me what so ever. I will be ordering more as I save up. I am on fixed income, so as I say, I save up.
@fairyspunfibers90982 жыл бұрын
@yellow2615 The shipping to anywhere outside Australia is very high. These are postal rates set by the Aus. Govt., so no changing that, unfortunately. No, the molds are not available anywhere but on eBay. These molds are WORTH IT! 😊

I've seen different versions of trees where the grandparents are at the top and the generations moving down get wider. But to me, that looks more like a pyramid than a tree 😂 I much prefer the grandparents at the botton, you know in the roots of the tree, and as the tree grows so too do the branches move out and spread. However, in our family that tree would be very unbalanced, like you kept saying 😂 On my side I have 9 brothers and myself but I am the only one with children and I have 6. Where as on my husband's side he only has 6 siblings and himself but each sibling has 4 kiddos that would need to be represented and the tree would not be visible after that
