The way Todrank shook Nolf's hand and his poor record tells me that Todrank was just trying to have fun. Probably just looking for the coolest thing he could achieve like scoring a non-escape point on a legend.

I don't think Todrank was 'showboating' at all. I think he knows darn well who he's wrestling and the likely outcome. He fired off more shots on Nolf than any opponent I've seen all year, probably by a factor of two. He was aggressive throughout, and I think the second stall call completely unwarranted. Try to imagine how it would feel to wrestle for years, work unimaginably hard at fitness, technique and mentality, to rise to the near pinnacle status - one of the fifty best wrestlers in your weight class in the entire country, and then to draw a legendary opponent like Nolf that you KNOW you cannot hope to defeat. "Well, I have absolutely nothing to lose. Here goes the best I can do." I think he was so surprised to even be IN the third period that he was joking around with Nolf, and strongly suspect no disrespect was intended or received.

....yup, and he actually did better than most of the top ranked guys LOL!! The "showboating" was messing around and he didn't possibly think it was going to win him the match. That's why he did it. I mean... the fans have lost their minds putting him down. Kind of obvious. They are supposed to compete! They're acting as if, even if he COULD beat Nolf, he shouldn't' even entertain THAT fantasy because they love him so much. Nothing would make them happy except for the opponent to lay down and let Nolf run up the points.

lasvegasloner. Maybe I saw something different. I saw a guy frustrated at being dominated. Watch the end of the first period he tries to shove him back when the period ended. Then again at the end of the 2nd when he offered his leg. Then came the gift of a reversal that Todrank did nothing to score and he cuts him and acts a fool?!? Waving his arms and swaying his hips?!? Pull that on senior day in Rec Hall ???? He got what he deserved, wish he’d have gotten splaydled

@Chris-ox3ux 5 жыл бұрын
TheBen Dover he tapped him on the stomach not really a push more of a “good period” type thing. And the leg thing Jason nolf tried to make him jump to get a laugh out of the crowd so he went with it. Todrank is a 141 pounder too. So he just used this match to have some fun. I know if I bumped up two weights and wrestled one of the most dominate #1s I’d look for some fun too as I’m probably not gonna win
