Hello, Ana. I wanted to tell you that its absolutely okay if you don't have something to share with us here. I hope you release that pressure off yourself because honestly, whenever you feel like you want to journal and you journal, thar just hits different than feeling like you have to because you have a channel here. I enjoy even your silences here because I know you're either traveling with your family, having beer with your friends, having yourovely dog give you very affectionate licks or probably writing a new script or watching a rerun of I Live Alone or Hyori or just working. sometimes I forget you guys know me this much. I always think that you just watch one video and that's it, then you leave. I'm talking to friends and you guys know me as a friend too. It's so lovely that you know what I'm doing even though I haven't told you...because you know me sooo much ♡ you have no idea how much I like this, how much I love messages like yours. I just want to hug you and spend time with you journaling, drinking and talking about movies and songs. Dear Ana, thank you for sharing yet another beautiful collection of moments with us. Everything you make is so full of humanity - the same kind of humanity you sense in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or Her (they’re some of my favourite movies, by the way). And I’m sorry your friend is leaving. That’s such a sucky feeling. As a stranger on the internet, I can’t do much to cheer you up - but I thought I’d still try. If you’re looking for something new to watch, I thought I’d recommend some of my recent comfort movies: Paterson (2016) and Compartment Number 6 (2021). I haven’t seen you mention them on your Letterbox, so I figured I’d put them out there. If you end up watching them, I hope you’ll love them as much as I do. Paterson especially - it’s a must-watch for us notebook-obsessed folks.
