Very impressive work, well done. A fascinating period in history, where ordinary people used the skills and tools they had, to oppose professional warrior armies. The wagons are excellent.

Thank you. This was probably the most difficult army that I’ve ever made and it took a lot of research. I know they were probably a little bit more colorful than they were in real life, but I had fun and it makes it look really nice. But thank you for your comment it’s always nice to give people ideas for their own armies. And if you like me I love watching and looking at Eye candy

It took a long time to get the right wagon look. Even today I might make a few more modifications but it really is nice and I probably won’t touch it. I could’ve made a couple of wagons better but I think it looks good and it’s a pleasure to always look at

Another gorgeous army Kevin! The decorations on the wagons and the pavises (is that a word) are great. Thanks again for the pics of your Successor armies - they gave me the ideas and motivation to get moving on my Successor project.

Thank you I tried to give a little history but not too much as there are so many other really wonderful KZbinrs that focus on history I just want to wet the appetite. Given your focus on the medieval. I thought you might enjoy this army more than most

I’m glad you like it truly is a wonderful spectacle if you could see it in person. It is pretty amazing and the camera doesn’t do it justice

Allow me to offer You some well-meant criticism to Your astounding work. 1: Jan Zizka realized that wagenburgs has an achilles' heel in corners. So the formation had rounded corners not sharp, or even completely circular. 2. At the time the classification of artillery was still sketchy, handguns were regarded as artillery too. I feel confident that Zizka would never leave big gaps in the line by letting cannons poke out through gaps in the line. It is indicative that the modern term "howitzer" for a cannon shooting at a high angle, is from this conflift: "Houfnice" means in Czech "something belonging the battle formation". Likewise the modern term "pistol", there is in Czech folkloristic music a flute called "pisht'ala".

I like this information a lot. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to do the corners but I did build it to go in a circle as well maybe that would be much better. But this conflict is fascinating and the inventions that the Czech people Developed was astounding. I made several trips to Prague and into the museums and was always quite pleased. But you’re right I should have done the movie in a circular fashion and not a corner. Thank you so much for your help

Stunning. Any special rules you like to use with Hail Caesar for Hussite special tactics?

It’s a beautiful Army. I’m still working on some special rules but I treat each “wagenburg” like a built up area. It can shoot, melee but cannot move. Modifiers against cavalry. Very hard to assault. But vulnerable to artillery.

Thank you very much. This was very hard work but a lot of fun and a lot of creativity. I think today these models you can buy, but I had to scratch build them back then, but I’m glad you liked it. It’s there for my fellow Wargamer’s to help them and their modeling and thoughts.
