Statistically speaking, there should be a toty icon in every 50 or so packs and a team of the year in every 100 of these packs. Personally, I think EA fabric these odds.

Not really, the percentages are set for each pack. If its 1.1 % chance from 75 players, it becomes 2.2% from 150. The probability never changes. A lot of people don’t realise this and keep buying packs thinking their odds improve with each one. If EA said, there’s 100 packs and in 1 of them there’s a TOTY then the odds would improve each time.

@@tomspiers545 technically, if EA release a finite amount of promo packs and odds are 1% or more, then for those odds to be genuine EA has to give out a toty every 100 packs as that is 1%. The discrepancy with this pack though is that not everyone is opening it. If everyone did, then there would be A LOT more toty’s and toty icons due to the odds being higher than 1%.

If they release a lightning round of 230,000 packs and they say the odds of getting a toty is 1%, then they HAVE TO give out 2,300 toty’s if all of those packs sell. If they didn’t, then that would be false advertisement and a class action lawsuit.

@@gusmuehlbauer3165 when you opened your packs and there are duplicate players, exit / press O button then choose “exit and sort it later”. Do your SBC then comeback to store to retrieve the duplicated ones (you can click any packs first then it will eventually brings you to the duplicated one)
