Oh my gosh, Before I Let Go hurts. Lol 😆 one of my favorites of the year!

I knew that was gonna cut deep for a lot of people but as someone that suffers from infertility I couldn't read a book like this if I didn't care for the characters with my whole heart.

@ totally understandable 💕 that’s really hard to cope with.

Oh goodness! So many titles here that I have on my TBR. The reformatory, baby X and even wellness, but I totally get it, if a book is boring, or can’t keep your attention, it’s a no for me too. My #1 rule is, if it’s written poorly, I’m not wasting my time, but not because I’m a snob, but because it loses me every couple of sentences. That way I can DNF from the first couple of pages. I recently read an arc that is coming out in January and I made myself finish it to review it and it took me forever, because like you, I rather do anything that go back to that book! Thanks for sharing your list and your reasons, it always helps ❤

I definitely don't want to dissuade people from reading the books on this list because there's obviously people out there that love these books, and hey you might too. Let me know how they go.

In the past, I’ve always felt guilty if I dnf’d a book. Then I started to think of books like TV shows. If I think a TV show or movie is cheesy or boring, I turn it off. I finally started doing the same with books that I don’t enjoy. I find that dnf-ing books helps to keep me out of reading ruts too.

100% Using tv shows and movies is a great way to think about it. I always thought about it like songs on the radio. If a song came on I didn't like that I would change the channel.

I loved Raiders of the Lost Heart. I thought it was so cute! I actually gasped when you said you DNF'ed Before I Let You Go. I was really surprised. I do DNF books. I don't spend my time on a book I am not enjoying because just like you sia there are too many books out there.

I dnfed Romantic Comedy too. Have Saturday night at the lakeside supper club on my goodreads tbr shelf and do not know when I will get to it. I dnf but not as much as I should, The twin by Natasha Preston I should have dnfed instead of giving it a 1star with short a review saying why I hated the book.

I have only read one of these books and this video actually made me rethink my rating and I just lowered it. 😂😂 Honestly, I rated it higher than I should have to begin with. I'm all for DNFing books. No time to waste on books that don't bring us joy.
