Tobias Funke (or at least, a bald, mustached man in cutoffs and blue body paint) actually has a cameo in Avengers: Infinity War in one of the Collector's cages on Knowhere. But since the whole place was under a Reality Stone-powered illusion, all that tells is that Thanos must be a fan of Arrested Development.

The even stranger thing about the Log Lady show was that Lynch wanted it to be a children's show where she and her log would do educational and mundane things like go to the dentist.

You can't talk about stage magic without talking about Ricky Jay. Not only is he one of the most gifted sleigh of hand magicians of all time, he is also an accomplished historian of magic and has been a technical advisor for many films about magic, including The Prestige and The Illusionist.

"Frasier" was VASTLY superior to "Cheers".( Itself a great show..) It's an example of the "spin-off" surpassing the original, Kind of like "Manfred Mann's Earth Band's" cover of Springsteen's "Blinded by the Light".

The most successful spin-off of all time has to be Friends. It's a spin-off of Mad About You. Now, some of you will say it's not. My wife would agree with you. But Ursula was a character on MAY, and on Friends. True, She's not a main character, or even a frequent character, but I think she's important enough to the story line to say that Friends is a spin-off.
@plucas12 жыл бұрын
Naw. The most successful TV spin-off is The Simpsons, which was a spin-off of the Tracy Ullman show.
@rickseiden12 жыл бұрын
@@plucas1 In the same way that Wayne's World was a spinoff of SNL, you're right, the Simpsons is a spin-off of Tracy Ullman. I think you're right. So, I'll just say the most successful live action spin-off is Friends.

Actually, Ursula and Phoebe were supposed to be sisters. Ursula was on Mad About You first, then Lisa Kudrow was cast on Friends. The two shows were not originally related.

I'm hoping there will be some mention of Bill Bixby's series "The Magician", which he did between "The Courtship of Eddie's Father" and "The Incredible Hulk". The show's producers made extensive use of many real stage magicians working at the time, as well as featuring the magic-themed club Magic Castle and having Bixby learn how to perform many of the illusions himself.

Speaking of John Cleese, the short fourth season (or "series" as the BBC calls it) of Monty Python's Flying Circus had him no longer in the cast or credited as one of the show's writers. The show's title for season four was also shortened from "Monty Python's Flying Circus" to simply "Monty Python".

I want to say this in the nicest way possible and mean no harm, but online, the worst is usually assumed. So I’ll just say it, your shirt is not flattering. I think it’s the trim on the “sleeves” and how big the arm holes are. It’s a mix of cozy turtle neck sweater and a wife beater. Those 2 cuts don’t work together.
