The DDDU configuration looks amazing. Finally an IEM without a ridiculous bass boost. Even Moondrop keep adding sub-bass nowadays - nice to see something budget that can be a bit more neutral. It will be the first time in 2 years I'm giving KZ a shot. Hope it's as good as it graphs!

Seems to be 3 level bass control (+1db, +2db, +3db) and 1 high gain switch (+4db all freq).

pretty nice to see ppl still open to KZ after what happened, i bought the tangzu encounter and then that whole thing about it came to light lmao. the best ones i've spent on are the VE monks and yincrow X6 has been worth my $20 xD

For all practical purposes audio devices are very much like a black box. If it sounds good to you, who cares if they did 3 drivers in reverse polarity, left 1 unconnected out of the 7 they cram in a single shell?

To be honest I don't like being charged 200$ either if my IEM had a bare copper coil that made sound which I even liked. But I guess that's the price to be paid for discovery. And the fact that my ear and mind can be fooled so easily.

KZ is willing to try new things others would’ve copied. Have the ZVX and find the zobel network refreshing although the rawness in the treble may be a hit or miss. The natural progression is hit the buy button. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

Ur description reminds me of Blon 01, analytical with tight bass and need power to excel it's sound quality. I really enjoy Blon 01 as its very clear n clean with good sound separation even while listen to metal songs and tight bass ❤.

Purpose :- Games (awesome sound stage), Music (lower bass and vocals - priority), movies (clear dialogues and awesome sound stage - priority)... Same, I have the same taste of your's in music. I hate edm, rap, metallic songs. I love string instruments, smooth slow songs, in fact I have many songs sung by Jack e Chan. I love coldplay, sia, Adele, Sam Martin, all calm songs

What kills me is they did all that tuning switch gimmick when they could of released the default tuning in a much nicer shell. Smaller, not all metal, lightweight IEM shell. I can't say it enough but if an IEM doesn't want to stay in your ear for hours and hours it's not great. You want one that you can forget you have it in and these big metal ones remain me of the Starfields I own which despite being amazingly good sounding they slip out after a couple hours due to heat, sweat and the seals break.

Tbf it's the same people that try to justify the tiniest change in the frequency graph for the large increase in price. Including the sound changes with different ear tips and ESPECIALLY changes in sound with cables.
