The fiio btr7 had great sound. This is an upgrade which can be powered direct bypassing the battery and has more power. I've ordered one. Really looking forward to it.

Can you review the Tiandirenhe QCC308. It does ldac and aptx with bluetooth 5.4. Looks cheap but if it sounds good that's ok.

Fiio should have gotten their software game straightened out before bringing out more BTRs. I got the BTR15 because I wanted to be able to eq. But it turns out that using the eq function is VERY buggy. It doesn't work with PC or phone wired mode. Also it caused other issues when I was experimenting with eq in BT mode. I sent it back. I have a btr5 2021 that I use with no eq. The 15 offers nothing more since eq is a mess. Anyway, I'm hearing that the BTR 17 has the same exact issues. Don't buy any of these products until FIIO gets their software sorted out.

I am also facing the choice of my first DAP. I am interested in your opinion as the owner of these two devices (JM21 and HiBy R4) Which of them is better in terms of sound and what is the autonomy of both of them in the same conditions. I think that I am not the only one interested in such a comparison

i purposely got the mmcx version and got a converter to 2pin so it can fit the recessed female 2pins, also since its mmcx at the base i can rotate the iems for a better fit 👍

Thumbnail had me thinking it was dimensionally similar to the cassette the design is inspired by. makes me think more of audio dictation tapes now that i see it in your hands. Very cool.
