Again, if being single is so good for women, why aren't they promoting the single life to men as well? After all, more single men = more single women. So what's the matter?
@BlueBD Жыл бұрын
The women that write these articles want toys not boys. The men are just that a sexobject. They are the Exact same as men who view and use women the same. Aka they are what they claim to fight. Exactly what almost every modern social activist movement is. A giant group of projectors.
@mirceazaharia2094 Жыл бұрын
The truth of the matter is, women are far more focused around their reproductive role than men are. It is their whole reason for existing, for being different from men, an independent sex. They're baby makers, the poor dears, gestation chambers on legs. This is their whole biological and evolutionary purpose, their psychology is entirely built on it. If they don't fulfill it, in truth, they go CRAZY. They CRAVE to fulfill it, but are also very easy to influence and highly conformist, to get the social acceptance from a tribe which they NEED to survive. If depravity is the dominant trend, they conform to it, and buy into the girl boss lie. They try it, and it gets them a lonely lifestyle, without fulfilling the reproductive imperative that they CRAVE to fulfill. Some of the very intelligent ones sublimate this baby rabies, and become great artists and scientists. But they are an exceptional exception to the general rule.

Glorifying the solo life: It's basically the "screw you guys - I'm going home" statement EXCEPT that those women left the home so that they could find sexy company to fill the home with. Women give these weird, misleading statements because they have two public faces (for lying - one for women and one for men that could be watching) and the real face they only reveal to girlfriends and the men they cheat on their partner with. Make no mistake: most women feel absolutely miserable being alone (no status, no company), especially after they reach 40 years of age.

Women in their 20s act like badasses when they do all those risky sports but men are lambasted if they do the same (muh responsibility and health insurance arguments when it comes to men) and have enough of an income to allow them to travel and enjoy life while men have to toil away and save and maybe have enough for one trip a year. These same women call men losers if they cannot measure up both professionally and monetarily all while ignoring women have all these safety nets that allow women such a lifestyle at a young age. Then it catches up to them in their 30s and they are either scrambling to find a mate or end up coping heavily while maintaining their high and entitled standards. I've known plenty of women starting in their early 20s who have exhibited such behavior now that they've hit their early to mid 30s.

I truly love my wife more than anything besides God. I’ve done well in life financially. Occasionally, someone will ask me as politely as they can why I married my wife. They’ll frame it as, “I’m surprised a guy like you is with a woman like that.” It is coded language because my wife is a 7 to 8 in the looks department, and they’re trying to be polite. Is my wife a supermodel? No, she’s not. She has a great figure, takes care of herself, and is feminine, but she knows her value. I’m even sure I could get a woman prettier, younger, etc, especially in bed. But my wife does have one quality I’ve never found in any other woman. I wouldn’t trade it for my wife being a supermodel. She is loyal as all get out. If I was to be completely honest, she realized long ago that I was really “out of her league” when it comes to aesthetics, and she has an incentive not to screw it up. And damn do I love her for it. A few weeks ago we were doing some spring cleaning and she found old pictures of us when we dating. She held up a picture of her as a 20 year old girl and said “What happened to this girl?” I said she gave birth 4 times to 5 children for her husband, and he wouldn’t have done any better with any other woman. I meant it, too. I struck gold with her.

It's honestly pretty sad. In my experience, the women who remain single up to and beyond their 30s can be divided, typically, into two distinct groups. The first group is the women that just slut around and never settle down, whereas the second group is comprised of women who sacrificed their social lives for the sake of grinding out their education and climbing the corporate ladder. In either case this behaviour, more often than not, is predicated on a lie repeated ad nauseam to them when they were younger. The lie, fundamentally, is that women can do anything and have anything. Being told this like again and again by people they trust and institutions that are supposed to guide them warps women's sense of reality and disconnects them from any sense of urgency. The unfair reality is that women are on the clock much sooner than men. The overwhelming majority of women still want families and children - however, society is currently structured in such a way as to disincentivize the sacrifices necessary to make that happen. Compounding this is the inability of women (people more generally) to admit they were wrong. Instead of admitting to themselves that they wasted a decade - their prime time for establishing a relationship and having kids -, women approaching or passing 30 often double down on their behaviours in a self-destructive attempt to preserve their ego. While everyone is responsible for their own actions to a large degree, it is none the less depressing to consider that so many women were so consistently led down some of the worst paths by more experienced people who were supposed to be guiding them.
@ordinaryhuman5645 Жыл бұрын
> The lie, fundamentally, is that women can do anything and have anything That's not even really a lie. She can have the guy, the family, and the career. The problem is that she gets the sequence backwards. Prioritize family first, and when the kids no longer need mommy all day she can move on to career things or whatever. But wasting that first 15 years on carousel riding or working almost ensures that the family part will be impossible.
