*A shih hadith about the Marriage of Imam Ali(a.s) with Janabe Fatima(s.a)* 8. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ali from Ali ibn Ja‘far who has said the following. “I heard abu al-Hassan (a.s) say, ‘Once when the Messenger of Allah was sitting an angel who had twenty four faces came to him. The Messenger of Allah said to him, “My friend Jibril, I had not seen you in this form before.” The angel said, “ Iam not Jibril, O Muhammad. Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious, has sent me to join in marriage the light with the light.” He then asked, “Who with who?” The angel said, “Fatima and Ali (a.s).” The Imam (a.s) said, “When the angel turned back on his shoulder it said, “Muhammad the Messenger of Allah, and Ali (a.s) the executor of his will.” The Messenger of Allah asked, “Since when this has been written on your shoulder?” The angel replied, “It was there twenty two thousand year before Allah created Adam.”

Quran 2:7 “Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and their sight is covered. They will suffer a tremendous punishment.” I used to think this was referring to the kafirun. Turns out it applies to Sunnis as well. You can show them Hadiths from their own books and they’ll still disagree with it and protect their wretched idols. How reminiscent of pre-Islamic Arabia!

Sunnis follow what they found their forefathers were on. If you say to them *"Follow what Allah has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing." Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided? This one incident of fatima (sa) being angry with abu bakr suffices not to be a sunni, how can you expect a person to be faithful and loyal to the deen of rasool allah (sa) and take deen from him when he is not loyal and faithful to his daughter.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3090 Narrated Anas bin Malik: "The Prophet (ﷺ) sent Abu Bakr with the (announcement of) Bara'ah (the declaration to publicize the disavowal of the idolaters). Then he summoned him and said: 'It is not right for anyone to convey this except a man among my family.'"So he called for 'Ali and gave it to him." Tl;dr: Prophet didn't even let Abu bakr to broadcast a revelation, why would he implicitly choose Abu bakr as successor bcoz he was an imam when prophet was sick. And then later he removed Abu bakr. If i am sick and the school assings a substitute, and then i come in the middle of the day and remove the substitute. What does that say to you?

During his final illness, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) appointed Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq to lead the Muslims in prayer and he did not accept anyone else to take his place. The fact that he was appointed to take his place in the case of minor leadership (leading the prayers) indicates that he would succeed him in the case of major leadership (as imam or khaleefah)@@thelion2087

The quran actually contradicts the hadith that says prophets do not give inheritance . An-Naml(16) وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ ۖ وَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنْطِقَ الطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْمُبِينُ And Solomon INHERITED David and he said: ‘O people! We have been taught the language of the birds, and we have been granted of everything; verily this is the manifest favour’.” ALSO : Maryam(6) يَرِثُنِي وَيَرِثُ مِنْ آلِ يَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَاجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيًّا “(One that) shall be my inheritor and the inheritor of the posterity of Jacob; and make him, my Lord, well-pleasing.”

That seems difficult to argue as the hadith of al-Kafi, which is authenticated by al-majlisi, explicitly states that the Prophets inherit knowledge from one another as per various Quranic verses (inna Dawud waritha ilm al-anbiya wa inna Sulayman waritha Dawud). See al-kafi, 1:18-19.

What is a proof for the shia is what the imams say the Quran means in a particular verse, and in the verse of sulayman and Dawud inheriting, Abu Abdillah states the prophets inherited prophetic knowledge.

Secondly , even if we say that it means knowledge then it could mean knowledge and other things the hadith did not say only knowledge and nothing else . Also lets say they inherit knowledge . Look at the Hadith in Bukhari volume 8, Hadith # 6285, that he was reading from. After Fatima’s name was written, peace be upon her, was added after her name in Arabic(22:25). This is another proof that she wasn’t an ordinary woman AND that Sunni Muslims should start saying it after her name instead of only saying may Allah be pleased with her. also, at 25:36

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from certain persons of his people from Harun ibn Muslim from Mas‘ada ibn Sadaqa from abu ‘Abdallah who has said the following. “Imam Ali said, ‘O people, Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, has sent to you the holy Prophet (s.a.) and gave him the book with truth while you all were illiterate (ignorant) about the book and the One Who revealed it and about the messenger and the One Who sent him in a period of time wherein no messenger had been sent, during a prolonged delinquency of the nations with wide spread ignorance, over-looming afflictions, the crumbling of the established social order, blindness towards the truth, the practice of *injustice**, the destruction of **religion**, the raging of **wars**, at the time of paling away of the gardens of the worldly life, the withering away of the branches therein, the scattering away of its protectors, the loss of **hope* of its fruits, the drying out of its waters and the decadence of its lighthouses. At such a period of time the elements of wickedness had been manifest everywhere. The world seemed aggressive, rough and frowning at the face of its inhabitants, *regressing* instead of helping to progress and with wicked fruits. Its food was but carrion, its slogan fear and the swords as overall garments. You were totally crushed and the eyes of the inhabitants of the world had turned blind, their days dark. They had boycotted their *relatives**, caused much **bloodshed* and buried their **baby-girls alive**, expecting **thereby goodness of life and worldly tranquility**. They would not cherish any hope in the rewards of Allah or preserve any fear of the punishment of Allah. Their living were blind and filthy and their dead in the fire in total despair. “At such time came to them a copy of what was in the ancient pages (of guidance) and a confirmation of what existed with them, containing a complete account of the lawful and unlawful matters. That is the holy Quran ask it for the answers but it will not speak to you. I can tell you about it. In it there is the knowledge of the past and the knowledge of what comes in the future up to the Day of Judgement. Therein is the rule (needed) among you and to settle your disputes that may arise therein.’”

Imam Ali (a.s.)?" Whereupon he said: It is because of three things which I remember Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.a.) having said about him. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed: "Let us summon our children and your children..." Allah's Messenger (s.a.w.a.) called "Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain and said: O Allah, they are my family!"

The issue at hand was simply a matter of land management, devoid of any personal gain for Abu Bakr (RA), and he had a robust Hadith to support his claim. Why would the Prophet (PBUH) say, "Whoever angers Fatima angers me," without valid reason? Considering the context, such as Ali (RA) contemplating marriage to Abu Jahl's daughter, this Hadith holds relevance. Therefore, using it in the Fadak incident is unjust. This individual persistently stirs discord among sects. Shias should seriously contemplate boycotting him.
