Aluminum foil and transfer foil are different products. You CANNOT transfer silver from aluminum foil to a surface using a heat-pen or double sided tape. You use the foil transfer product to transfer silver (or other metallic colors) to a surface by using heat or adhesive.

The foil in the toaster is one of the most life shortening things I have seen for years. Never ever put foil into a toaster. The elements are bare live wires. Its like poking rolled up foil into a power point.

That is not the same foil that you buy in a supermarket. You cannot using the first technique (embossing) with ordinary tin foil.

That is Mylar Embossing Foil and you can get it in many different colors online or at your local arts and crafts store or hobby shop.

The ball can be blanched in boiling water (with the fan above the stove ON to suck out the toxic steam!) To shine and get better smooth surface and density. Also, rolling on a super smooth surface with a lot of pressure will make the grooves and pockets disappear.

I tried it to clean the rust on the tiles in the bathroom and was pleasantly surprised. They removed the rust completely. I hadn't seen it in a video, but I tried Coca-Cola first and the result was zero.

Great ideas for foil. You can clean silver jewelry (or silverware,, or pretty much any solid or plate silver items) easier and quicker, though, by using standard old-fashioned white toothpaste (Pepsodent works great and costs less than $1 per tube) Just use a soft cloth and rub the item with toothpaste to remove all the tarnish. Use a cotton swab for intricate areas. Storing silver items in sealed plastic zipper bags stops it from tarnishing in the first place 🙂

"don't toast bread" Never put anything metal in a toaster and turn it on or while it is in use! That one is a very special level of stupidity! Most of these "hacks" are not at all useful! Another is the shorted battery! I guess they don't have matches or lighters where he lives. The one with the wrong size battery is useful as a very short term solution to not having any of the proper size batteries.
