U can use ur old macbook air as a backup for ur files. As it has built in usb a ports u can just attach external hard drives into the computer and copy files onto it. Very useful when something happen s to your data that is hard to recover.

Hello! Was there any particular reason on why you chose space grey instead of silver? I’m torn between these two colors and it’s been days but i still haven’t decided on the final color yet 😓 I wanted the space grey one but i heard it smudges easily and the paint will have discoloration a few years after using them. While the silver one might be more durable but i’m afraid the reflection on the palm area might distract my focus to the screen ☹ (I'm thinking of buying the 14" ones btw and i’m planning to use it for at least 5 years)

Not really, My previous laptop was silver and this is my first apple product in the grey colorway so I opted for the grey one. The grey one does really smudge and fingerprint are quite visible but it doesn't bother me that much. You can check out some samples on stores to get a feel of the color. Just follow your guts and choose what. you really want. 😉
