@Willy-hs7uu4 ай бұрын
Doubt it, many of these are CGI renderings so, they are just concepts possibly in the works, US manufacturers will always find ways to restrict or tax to hell anything that will compete with their 40-80000 dollar offerings. Anyway the ones in this video that look interesting for the US market are, Fox eMobility, Halon Mover, and Vinfast (bronco looking thing), most of the others really fall under "micro" car category with limited use, for example meter maids, parking lot security, business lot patrol, or on farms.

Once they get the battery technology down( if it ever happens) there is a future for short range usage. Mini EVs with removable batteries I believe is safer than larger battery packs with high voltage capacity.with thermal runaway on these big EVs is costly and expensive. They get the mini EVs under $10,000 it can do well in the US.

We are just waiting for our Fiat Topolino, by far the cutest of all the quad cycle. They may not use gas as you call it, but they still use energy to charge. The amount of natural resources used to create these cars are smaller but still being used. Until a truly free to run car, hydrogen, then it will always use resources.

Love it, I would love to have one but living in California here in the Bay Area with the crime and cops who don't know the laws it will be hard to drive it anywhere without getting pulled over every time they see you 😊 and you better not have a driving record or a criminal record 😢 because they will tow it away, especially here in Oakland, and you might have a hard time getting it back from the pound plus you might have to pay a arm and a leg for it 😊 hate to say that 🤗 and I don't like saying that word, but its so TRUE you might have to wait 10 years from now for the state and the DMV to approve such vehicles and allow people to purchase them...! But I definitely want one especially the last one 😁......!

What about crash safety regulations? Are there really no crash tests for such micro-machines? And how are they certified for production and operation in this aspect? China, okay, but how is such a car-coffin allowed in security-obsessed Europe? After all, God forbid, for example, if such a truck hits a car, it will fly away somersaulting or on its side! This is not to mention a simple fairly strong blow from the front or side... Can someone enlighten me on this issue?

WOW, a lot of these would work perfectly with my concept of the perfect flying car. OK, so 99 % of cars have 1 person in them.... a "snap on snap off" 1-person lite weight EXISTING micro electric car with a separate top fitting powerful snap on/off drone could work today. When you get close to where you fly into you can snap off the micro car and drive to where you need to go. You own the micro car but the expensive drone is rented and arrives from the drone port ready to go. This would keep the cost low and always have a fully charged snap on drone ready to go. Lots of Drone Ports (Think the new gas station) everywhere storing drones ready to go. On a long trip you just stop at a drone port and switch out the drone for one fully charged. 99% of people could afford this! Keep it simple...... use what we have.... Once perfected this will totally disrupter old fashion expensive cars, clogging up highways and save environment at same time. Let’s snap one of these micro cars to a powerful drone (like Volvocopter 18 blade super structure} and make it work for everyone. AI CONTROLS WITH GPS SHOULD MAKE THIS AN AUTONOMOUS PILOT FROM POINT A TO B...... JUST TELL ALEXIS WHERE YOU WANT TO GO........ Then the whole trillion-dollar highway infrastructure budget can now be used to bulldoze down slums and build quality affordable homes with a drone port on the roof….! WOW….! WE NEED TO THINK SMALL INORDER TO GO BIG! I think this is totally feasible right now for under $20,000 plus monthly drone rental fees? A lot better than $250,000 plus which no one can afford like the X2, Pop Up and the Airbus fly cars now being built. Please make a basic model for everyone. Partner with drone mfg. and get er done.....! CITY TRANSFORMER CT, MEV CITY, SQUAD CITY, SILENCE WESTWAR MAX LSV, PAXSTER, ZERO MAX could all work with a snap on drone….?!?!?!?!
