You know these guns in and out! What threads are on the buffer tube? Can you switch it out with a mil spec buffer tube? I was a AR collapsible stock

It's commercial spec. I believe you can change the tube to mil spec. Go to my Facebook group guys on there have done it. Typhoon F12 USA and the rest of the world

Have you ever used the MKA 1919?

I have owned one. It shot very well but the gas system broke after 3months and couldn't be fixed. It just couldn't deal with the punishment. That's why I don't like the the Typhoon Xii because it is a straight copy.

@@stuart1336 that makes sense. Just curious, was it a newer MKA 1919 or one of the older ones?

@@Spike-13 older probably 2012 or there abouts. They were never imported to the UK in big numbers

@@stuart1336 interesting, too bad it broke on you. The older ones were known to have a fragile operating system. I have a new MKA 1919 "Match Pro" and it has a much improved op rod and carrier. Much more robust than an older model I have.

I purchased a F12 last year. Only ran through few hundred rounds and my extractor broke off. Typhoon sent me a new Bolt with a new extractor on it. Now it won’t fire and after I pull the trigger the bolt is extremely hard to pull back. I can’t even budge it right now. Any suggestions how to fix this ?

on new bolts i think the charging handle in inserted too deep. try to reset it.

Why haven't the bolt carrier welds been improved do you think?

They may have fixed it now but I don't know as I haven't seen any of the new guns and I don't talk to Typhoon anymore. I do know the first 2000 guns delivered to the US had old ones which was a big mistake on their part. Shame because it's a very goon gun.

@@stuart1336 Well fingers crossed because more apparently came in and I have one coming tomorrow. The VR80 has quickly become very popular in Multigun here in the US so if they want to keep up with it they've hopefully fixed that. It's a bit like competing with themselves when it comes to the VR80, but I think the demand is so high in the US right now that there is lots of room for two similar guns.

@@colterodell1851 Arsmcor is a much better company than the Typhoon importers and they are doing a better job of promoting the gun. I was lucky to meet their team of shooters in the Philipines. They had the VR80 there but they were not shooting it. I have had a look at the internals and it's not something I would choose but I would bet you will get better support from Armscor in the US. I'm moving on from the Typhoon because of support. The importer destroyed my gun during a repair.

@@stuart1336 Makes sense. Armscor has a lot of success over here on the whole. Shame about the support from Typhoon though. On the upside, I got the Typhoon today and the welds look better from what I could see from videos and pictures around the net. Welds are on 3 sides vs 2 and appear deeper. The carrier is a slick black like maybe a nitride of some kind. I shot 125 shells after picking it up and it would almost run 1145fps super light stuff by the end. Ejection on 1200fps shells increased, and I still need to shoot a lot more, but those were running good at the end. 1250fps stuff ran 100% for 75 shells.

I will probably buy a Dissident Arms KL12 next year. My local range closed down and a new range will open some time in 2021 so no immediate rush as I have no where to practice. Gun is now sold. Took one hour!
