infp here, I’m used to quietly listening to people talk while I give non-verbal feedback, nodding, eye contact, hums, I also rely on facial expressions to convey emotion when talking, make eye contact, look at the other person’s expressions, use hand gestures...and none of that can be done on the telephone ;-; also it’s just so stressful when I call people that aren’t friends or family, my heart keeps racing up until I end the call ;v; I sometimes take notes of what I’m going to say before I call

It's because of your tone and body language- INFJs tend to give off a very neutral, balanced and calm vibe which people instinctively pick up on as receptive whether it is or not. When someone gets a little too personal when I (ENFP) don't know them too well (which happens a lot, since I invite social contact, just not too escalating too quickly) my eye contact and body language immediately shifts slightly in order to change the general atmosphere of the conversation. INFJs never create that sort of contrast which kind of lets people know, cos you guys are so calm and consistent by comparison.

I'm 22 now and I still get shocked everytime my phone rings. 2. My dad is an ESFJ, I've recently learnt that fact. It took him like an hour to take the test because he was wondering about the questions for so long and meanwhile he told a few childhood stories that confirmed his answers. 3.
