Yes, I know you worked hard on this paper and got an A, but I can point out atleast 50 things wrong with it, even if they arent technically hindering the quality of your work. I wont tell you this though because if you react negatively i will stay awake for hours on end critizing myself and my ability to communicate socially.

As an INTJ, I only really show off my interests if im really nervous and dont know what to say. With someone I like, I try to carefully choose my words and maybe tell a joke to make them laugh. My goal is to have a succesful conversation and make a good impression, like an extroverted personality would normaly do. I typically laugh at everything they say thats slightly funny, and afterward ill cringe at it for hours and never let myself forget it. 😅

As an ISTJ woman, I wished I could do or say something to lift people up, but I'm just terrible at that. I actually care about people, but it stays inside of me, I don't usually let it out because I don't know how to do that. Last time I wanted to do something for someone I came up with the idea of throwing a small party for a coworker who just came back to work from the hospital (he was in the ICU). He helped me a lot in the past, and I was happy to have him back. So I baked a special cake for him (he has diet restrictions) and decorated the room for the party. I also made a short speech showing my gratitude for him. However, I really don't know how to do any of that. I feel so awkward. I am so shy.

I'm an ISTJ, but I am not the stereotypical ISTJ. It's hard, but after some decades of introspection and trying to navigate life, I think I'm less oblivious to people's feelings. However, emotional closeness is something that scares me, as someone with social anxiety and a history of heartbreak. So I'll pretend I don't understand what people want from me so that I can escape uncomfortable situations. I don't think there's anyone I would feel comfortable with if they tried to hint they liked me. It'd always freak me out, but I'd try to act dumb as a safe escape.
