I'm an INTJ and it happens that I live in an environment where high Se is praised so I met a lot of ESFPs and ESTPs during my lifetime. Just as the stereotypes say, they are very loud and energetic. What I've noticed is that they have a high tendency to always try to either start conversations (or try to make fun of) the quietest person in the room which usually is me. Although I'd rather be left alone, ESFPs usually don't annoy me too much. I would just talk to them or join the stupid games they're trying to initialize then I'd be left alone after 5 minutes. I probably couldn't bear living with one but meeting one outside isn't all that bad. Could be fun too from time to time.

I had a friendship like this. At first we argued a lot, but eventually we reached a point where we mutually did not understand each other and accepted that we were alien to each other. So interactions between us were just interesting brain execerises... which inferior Se and inferior Ni could only handle for so long, lol

@@callmeflower6901 my INFJ sister is very confident about her Ni Fe Ti, somehow I think she's feels heavily to the fact that people seems to not think deeply about the consequences of their actions which drives her mad but using that Fe (chatting with friends, using social media for social updates, socializing with her workmates) helped her a lot to let her out into that Ni bubble which compensates her Se inferior. Stressing on your Ni-Se axis on why you always have vision instead of taking things as is can make you feeling bad about your intuition in the first place, so use your Ni vision for Fe-Ti things instead.

I'm an INFP with an ESTP brother. I never knew growing up if he was smart or dumb because he switched it up all the time but his ability to just know things I never say out loud led me to settle on him being a mind reader who uses his power for evil. It wasn't till we were both in our 20s that I finally figured out that he's not dumb, he never was, he's just got a thrill for life and finds joy in running head first into the unknown that my overly cautious butt mistook it for idiocy. I actually find myself these days kind of envious of his lack of worry about certain things that keep me up at night.

As an ISFJ I love ENTPs. However, if you stare into the abyss it stares back. Just kidding. ENTPs are fun to argue with, and they’re very honest about their opinions, I appreciate honesty. I love transparency. They certainly will tell you if you’re making a mistake and are great communicators. They’re great at mentally stimulating conversations, and seeing all sides of something. Really good at being devils advocate. 10/10 would rate ENTPs.

Yeah. Love Who (another channel about 16 personalities) describes INTPs as liking comfort. As a fellow INTP, I can agree with that. Also, tshirts with logos draw attention on occasion, which very few INTPs want. However, it does give the viewer an indication on who the INTP is, and so I'm not too bothered by the trend. It has a use, if it is still unrealistic.

As an INFJ I completely agree with INFJ's description of ESTP haha I remember clearly that I used to have that same thought in many conversations with this ESTP. I also wondered whether he was doing things on purpose to upset me or he was just very distracted. At the same time, I loved his energy and enthusiasm, and how his life seemed to be filled with the adventurous experiences I dream of having. He managed to make me laugh easily and also be frustrated with him. But, all in all, I liked spending time with him =D

@@trinaq yes! Exactly, she "moms" me. Which I'm very grateful for most of the time. It's just tiring sometimes and I'm afraid of offending her when I don't don't feel like picking up calls (which is always), forget to answer to messages (which is often) or say no to invites to go out (which is VERY often). Sometimes she lures me out with my favourite food and restaurants, but during these 2 years I've had the Pandemic excuse and her efforts haven't worked so well. She also cooks for me and freezes my favourite food and bring them to me and I'm both overwhelmed by gratitude and embarrassed for not being able to think about doing something so nice for her in return. By the way, I am EXTREMELY grateful. If I hadn't these kind of people in my life I would probably die. I've almost been hospedalized during the lockdown because I had strong deficiencies of nutrients and vitamins. I was alone and I just forgot to eat or to cook something nutrient to eat for months. The doctor had to give me a ton of pills to take. Then she began to send me food.

It can be explained in Jungian theory. The INFJ and ESTPs have exactly the same cognitive functions just in reverse order. So although you could call it opposite, it's a different kind of opposite from the type that has four completely different functions--in your case the ENFP or INFP. BTW, I'm an INTJ and my very best friends ever are an INFJ and an ESTP. Love both types♡

If what you are talking about does not make sense for us, then we start asking clarifying questions. So we are never thinking about your "authentic". Accordingly, there is no cause for your anxiety

So, I have an ESFJ sister. It’s funny because we’re different but can see and appreciate each other’s strengths. I can see how Fe doms can be rerally useful in any sort of social situation, or when deep empathy is required. She sees how a Ti dom problem solving person can be useful. For instance despite the fact that she’s quite a bit older I did a lot of her homework - and now I help her kids. She instantly calls me when she has any sort of thinking question, from legal advice and taxes to physics or medical questions or how to fix a leaking faucet. I’m not an accountant, doctor or plumber, but I can look stuff up. I tend to find and understand relevant information very quickly, which I assume some people think is a skill from their reaction. I don’t think she ever learnt to google. She says it’s easier and quicker to just call me for random facts and general problem solving. When our mother died she was the one who dealt with the funeral and talked to everyone in the way THEY needed. I think she has super powers and she thinks that about me. I would say we appreciate and respect each other. Obviously we love each other. BUT it can still be a little draining when she tries to set me up with her friends, tries to get me to be more social or just tries to get me to go outside. She means well.

I don’t think of myself as selfish. However, perhaps this is how someone might envision me from the outside. Like I’ve never supported the mask thing. Everyone needs to continue building their own immune system. Freedom to live, freedom to die. Someone else might see it from some big picture point of view, while I feel that is the big picture. Also, I wouldn’t bring a plastic straw. I would however complain about being forced to alter the taste of my drink via the paper straw. Then intentionally do something with the paper straw while I drink without the straw at all. Also, how is killing a tree to make a straw any better? At least come up with a better alternative.

I'm an INTP and I do art too. That's a very mean thing to say. That person is not your friend. Sounds more like someone who needs to make other people feel bad about themselves to feel better about him/herself. This said, you could always being a person who takes things way to personally, but not in this case. In this case just stay away from this person and keep them out of your life. There's not much room in your life for many people, be sure you choose the good ones.

Some are debatable, but I'd say (based on taking the functions on a surface level, any type can be any house): Gryffindor: Estp, Esfp Istp Enfj Slytherin: Estj Entj Intj Enfp Hufflepuff: Isfp Infp Isfj Esfj Ravenclaw: Infj Istj Entp Intp My reasoning as to why: Gryffindor: Screams Se, so Estp and Esfp, Istp is Ti dom Se aux, I think it fits Gryffindor most, enfj Is Fe dom Se tert which I also find fitting because Ti and Fe combined with Se can have some interesting results Slytherin: Is basically Te, with the ambition and stuff so definitely Extjs go here, Intj has Te aux and Ni is future oriented, enfp is Ne-Fi-Te, staying true to themselves while also having Te giving them a small push and Ne for ideas (cunning) Hufflepuff: Fi doms are focused on values and esfj is Fe dom, I think they are fitting, isfjs are Fe aux, idk Ravenclaw: While isfj is similar to infj (FeTi middle functions) Ni is more idea focused than Si, which is more about structure, istj, unlike isfj, is a Te-Fi user than a Fe-Ti, and I think that Te-Fi combined with Si would make someone focus more on learning. That way you have to use your Ti or even Ni, which are more reasonable 😈 But if it's not serious I often play a ball at you. Joke combat is great mental excercise 🙂

Just like Ne buddy only knows about make possibilities too, how real the possibility It doesn't care. I kinda find Ti is as 'spoiled' as Fi recently , It cares about 'logical' or not so much, that I have to apologize to people for my Ti moments sometimes. When it comes to the defence mode, maybe Ni/si helps at filtering information too. Si is like, this part I am not familar with it. Ni is like, quickly squeezes a point out. But when the information is not enough/properly digested and Ti has no time to think about Ni output, it can be easily wrong.

@@zeynbxalilzad4373 it is not completely unbearable, but it is hard. We are going on 14 years of marriage in June. Dated for three years before that and knew each other for 4 years before that. The reality is that intimate relationships are hard work. This was not the first marriage for either of us. Totally worth the work, but you both need to be willing to do the work vs cut and run when it gets difficult. My advice is ensure that you are friends, that you have some shared interests, because love changes over time. And staying in communication with each other is paramount. Best wishes!

Eh not all of us. I try to be nice because: 1) I don't want to be hated. 2) I feel bad for other people stuck with shitty jobs. I can definitely relate and so I want to make their day even a little better. 3) It's so much fun when you can get along with others because you can come up with dumb stuff together and just talk about weird stuff. Keep things light. IMMATURE ENTPs are like that, but not all of us. Ig our Enneagram also affects that because I'm a 6w7 so I act differently than, say, 8w7s.

This is actually a pretty good way to triangulate your type based on your own internal desires of what you like as in your ego, and what you don't like as in your opposite type. The INTJ and ESFP one is kinda of accurate. Damn, I hate it when I see so much energy wasted on stupid things. It triggers me. It makes me to want to punch someone when I see this. Why? Because I lose hope of humanity when I see that we can't think and communicate properly and we do stupid things and continue on our path of cyclic destruction. I think that the underlying issue is that this then makes it to make it so that we are running only based on a program and we lack the capacity for free will or our input in this matrix. And then it stops becaming a sandbox game as I want it to be, but it becames a prison where you are limited by your own program. So when I see an ESFP that does this, I think that I'm talking to an NPC, and I prefer to kill myself than to think that this is the truth. Which further alienates and isolates me from others. But then, in some instances, I really like the ESFP for what he is. For showing a different side of reality, that he always has the courage and willpower to confront this reality even if he fails and doesn't plan. That he doesn't surrender, but he fights on. But when this feeling of admiration disspears, I want to punch him again. :) So even if I still don't think myself as an INTJ, I think that my desires and inner self betrays me. So when I'm doubting my type and I think that I'm an ISTJ or riueueue or even gicuhr8383, the ESFP does something wrong, and automatically I want to help him so that I can punch him for not thinking. :) Noone asked this but you get what you get. For an ISTJ being in the delta Quadra, it doesn't actually like conflict. Whereas I prefer to get conflict as long as the issue is resolved. Also, I think that it may be that the ISTJ cares about the experience that he gets, so he makes sure to not cause discomfort for others, while INTJs wouldn't care I guess or they would ask for forgiveness afterwards. Sorry. :)

I was puzzled by these things as a young INTJ. As I went through life, I learned there are other ways of being in the world and of bringing value. In my 30s, I was in a relationship with an ISFP. He would take forever to make his sandwiches for the day - it drive me crazy, but I also kinda adored his precision and care for tiny details. He made everything beautiful. Now in my forties, I am better at understanding the different types of value people offer. At work, I create a frame for team members to use their strengths towards our shared goals. It's good to find people that balance us out a bit. Society and cultures within it are multi faceted.

That's pretty much how it was with my ESFJ friend. Every week, he would text me saying he was going dancing/clubbing/dining/to the movies/whatever with 10 of his friends and I needed to join. If I declined, he would instantly call me up and talk at me for 20 minutes trying to persuade me to come out. The debates could get pretty fierce at times. To his credit, I did join them from time to time, and while it was frightening and sometimes horrible, it wasn't always horrible.
