That is so painfully accurate. I have a niece I am convinced is INFP. She insists she is INTP, but I think it is because when she takes the assessments, she chooses what she wants, rather than recognizing how she is. I am ENFP and have had so many similar conversations with her. She is totally gullible and believes anything that is said for at least several minutes and will low key freak out until someone tells her the actual truth. This makes it very fun to good naturedly rib her every now and then. My INTJ husband loves messing with her head in the first place. He is the fun uncle and the kiddos all love how random his sense of humor is... and his mind games. They laugh after a minute and then find ways to get him back. This part of the video had me saying, "Ha! I KNOW she is INFP!!" She has way too many awkward moments like this coupled with super random dark, yet funny thoughts to not be INFP. 😂

I was an INTJ stay at home Dad when my ENTJ wife and I decided to see what a small hybrid of us would be like- she turned out to be an INTJ. When she was four her Mother decided family life was limiting her, and left. My daughter and I found the whole 'broken home' thing quite liberating, and had a wonderful time together before she left for college. Don't underestimate the sheer effort required, and pressures that parenthood creates, especially for 'certain' types more inclined to become invested in their child's outcome. My own Parents practiced a more 'feral' approach, which may be the better one for the preservation of marriage- we kids were certainly in second place to themselves as a pair.
@justme45795 ай бұрын
I’m sorry you had that experience. I find it interesting to hear this perspective because I often talk about how having five kids with my ENTP husband has actually led to him evolving in the best way! The responsibility matured him in so many ways and gave him a much stronger sense of purpose and focus, which would definitely be lacking if he wasn’t a father. It’s so important to him to educate our kids with his unique perspectives and philosophies on life and I love to see him channeling that energy! On the other hand, we happen to be part of a religious community, as well, which is probably also a significant factor in helping him stay grounded at the end of the day.

@@justme4579 - please note that I described 'that experience' as 'quite liberating', and a 'wonderful time'. My own faith was quite helpful throughout, and it was great fun for our nightly storytime to include child appropriate parts of The Book of Job, the Prophets, Pentateuch, Psalms, Gospels and Epistles. Her particular favorite was a beautifully illustrated story about the life of Francis of Assisi, although she preferred secular storybooks generally. We stopped attending Church when I saw the prevailing hypocrisy, legalism, and phony behaviors affecting her own. I asked if she still found it worthwhile and meaningful and she said no. We spent the summer (her 10th) attending old monster movie double features at a restored theater with her invited friends instead. Your results may differ.

@@jameswilkerson4412 I think nurture could have a significant influence on a person’s perspective or the way they evaluate and judge certain things, etc. but I don’t think it would actually influence one’s underlying personality. For example, my husband (ENTP) has definitely gotten the core of his value system and perspective on life and the world, his way of viewing events and experiences, straight from his father who is INFP. They are vastly different personalities but when my husband speaks, at least half the time it could just as well be his father’s voice saying the exact same thing. Like we could discuss something privately between us, and then he’ll bring it up with his father and his father would respond exactly the way he did originally word for word lol so yea I think nurture could have a huge impact on a person but not necessarily in molding the actual personality type.

Which of Camus' books did you read to him first?
@WolfoxBR5 ай бұрын
@@aml7481 I didn't, it was a joke. :) But if I had to, probably The Myth of Sisyphus. One must imagine Sisyphus happy... ;)

sometimes, after vids like these, I wonder if I really am an ISTP - I have 5 kids & highly enjoyed having them & helping raising them. Then again, I wasn't the one who was pregnant & dealt with all the physical trauma, lol. also, I don't know what type my wife is, but she wasn't a fan of going to the doctor; we had 2 of the kids with midwives at birthing centers, lol. And yes, gender reveal parties are dumb - we didn't even bother finding out the sex of the last 3. whatever popped out was good with us, no need for fanfare, lol. also, also, lol, drink whatever you want, Krisitin, including chocy milk - don't listen to the nutbags - the kids get whatever they need regardless.

I always assumed INTJ pregnant women would find it to be the most unnatural thing happening to them.

I just want to say "You're welcome" from all we INTPs to Kristin because our part in the skit involved very little talking and just laying on the floor. 😁 (of course getting up was probably hard, but hope you got a good nap first 😍)

As an INTP, I am absolutely unbothered by the fact that 16 people with different mbti would get pregnant at the same time and know each other. It probably happened in some parallel dimension.

Here's evidence, INTPs can be very low-IQ, too!

Okay, I did not expect that ending, but should have.😂 Congrats! May your baby enter the world understanding that 8 hours of sleep a night is a truly wonderful thing for everyone really.

(INFP) Aside from being pregnant, that was an amazingly relatable INFP! If someone had access to my inner thoughts that'd be extremely unsettling and yes they would be traumatised. You're on fire, keep it up! I still have the ESFP song stuck in my head and every video that you've been doing lately has been amazing!

Here’s an idea for the next time around: 16 Personalities Interacting While in Different Stages of Pregnancy. It would take 9 months to finish shooting, but could be worth it!
