The last time I cried it was just cuz I was nervous playing piano and I wasn't crying I just felt tears in my eyes and they went after a second so the Infp crying thing doesn't work for me .. Maybe it's cuz I'm like 60%feeling meaning I'm v close to being an Intp???

@@aishab1596 Yeah sounds like a lot going on under the surface. I totally relate to that and especially coming off as not emotional ...which can be confusing for others. For me it is such an internal experience that even less emotion is expressed when I'm feeling deeply. It has been a huge thing for me to cry in therapy or with friends and quite rare. I'll just let it out when I am alone before or after and my internal experience has more room. Crying cam be healthy however we do it!

Gabe Petro Disagree. It is helpful if depression or overthinking is an obstacle for getting stuff done. Sometimes emotions and feelings are too strong that they keep people from executing daily tasks let alone big things/projects in life. Therapy helps to sort those feelings out and manage them so that they don’t affect your productivity.

@@gabepetro358 Life isn't very logical. Logic is just a tool we use to help get through life by making sense of situations that have no inherent logic behind them. Who said things have to make sense or be explained away? Getting shit done is good for...getting shit done! Once the shit's done, then maybe we can do something else and feel something about it lol. I don't get the fear of feelings lots of TJ types exhibit. It's one thing to deny them in yourself, it's another to deny them to other people for whom they are very real. It doesn't mean your feelings are right, but, they are real and have meaning and importance. It can be very practical to be able to recognize and accept feelings in yourself and other people. Once you can admit what's felt, you can DO something about it! You can't even do that if you don't acknowledge them or deny them. Then you're just left with a big problem you refuse to admit is even a problem! Then you look like an asshat and don't get your way. Nobody wins. Feelings give us raw information about the state of our mind and body. Understanding them will ultimately be useful for GETTING SHIT DONE (don't cum just yet) because once you can understand your feelings, you can solve the issue (or just confront it properly) and move on! But, you can't just pretend they have no meaning or can be suppressed. Suppressing your feelings can legitimately make you physically ill by way of the psychosomatic connection. They are real. They aren't logical. Logic comes in later when you're working through them. If something isn't logical, that doesn't mean it's stupid or irrelevant. - ENFP

@@amphibeingmcshpongletron5026 common missconception. Entjs. Have feelings. Lol. Yes. We have to make a conscience attempt to acknowledge others feelings but at the end of the day we just want people to be happy. See. That's a feeling. We are very eager to get to the solution to problems so we become extremely observant of people. What's crazy about it all is most of the time we truly are helping others over ourselves. I'm a little older now, and realize that people can only operate at their level of consciousness at the time , and that's ok. Did you know that people with entj personality types subconsciously go around in life thinking were bad people? We dont care about sympathy. We are very misunderstood. But again, it's not about us. My best friend is a feeler with severe anxiety. It's a rough ride for both of us. Took a lot of time for both of us to "get " each other. She thought I was trying to steal her thunder and I had to do a lot of work proving I was who I said I was. I'm one of the most honest and generous people I know. I'll give you my last dollar if it's more logical fif you to have it than me. Pay it forward at every corner. Because I believe everyone could benefit from that. I never understood why people would call me a bitch when all i was doing was trying to help. So. I try to understand all the types. I still have a lot to learn. I've been depressed plenty in my life. Among other things. Been there done that. So why not share my experience with others to try to help? I've always had to fully articulate my thoughts to people because they think something opposite of what it actually is. Example. You're depressed because you're in a shitty relationship with an abusive partner. Leave. Not your job to fix them or waste your life thinking tf heyll change. Gotta be happy with yourself first. I'll give someone a million examples of what they could do. But. Yeah. If you want me to just listen to your feelings about it , I'll get impatient after a few times of that and nothing has changed. So I guess TV hat makes me a bitch? Quit being sad. get mad. Do whatever to take action and get tf out of there. Need ya to be happy yo. Sorry for the long text. Lol.

It helps to have an interest or passion that you want to share with other people. I'm the weirdo playing guitar at a party(that I decided to force myself to go to because it's somewhere I'm familiar with and there will be multiple people I know there), and ultimately socializing very little. If someone begins to ask you questions or take interest in what you're doing, or something you like... Take notice. And maybe try to find the ENFPs in the room ;). Mystique, intelligence, honesty, and confidence will be your greatest assets. Extroverted types might talk on and on with each other, but you're likely the one who has put the most deep thought into a topic, and your answers to questions or ideas proposed or explanations of the bigger picture might just fascinate someone ;) -Fellow INTJ that struggled a lot with love.

@@BrianOfAteionas I usually just sit to the side with my sister while she scrolls through her phone. That's probably the first problem I have. I don't really like going away from people I know and when there is a social gathering, I tend to just sit with her, because everybody else is talking about stuff I have no interest in. Well, in short, I look unapproachable, and when I actually talk to someone I apparently seem rude, or stand offish, or shy, or whatever else you can think of for an INTJ. 😂😭 Thanks for sharing. I have actually thought to myself that maybe I should just carry my sketchbook with me to parties since I don't really care for looking at my phone the entire time and it might make me look a little more approachable than just sitting there with a straight face that may or may not look like a frown. 😅

@@winterblossom52 I relate with that a whole lot. I'm glad you have a sister to do things with. I strongly encourage you to bring your sketchbook! You'll be communicating the whole time in your own way. It's okay to be a seem a little unapproachable imo. I think INTJs can really benefit from a partner who isn't afraid to pry into our business (even if we don't like it sometimes lol). I have a lot of esoteric interests myself, so I relate a whole lot with "everyone else is talking about things I don't care about". It's rough. BrianOfAteionas Ever since I was little, practically a baby, I’ve been into art. Pencil, watercolor, marker, you name it, I’ve probably done it. I also like photography, which I suppose it also part of the arts... When I was in school I enjoyed math, but I don’t really do anything with that anymore. Just the basic stuff. Also video games, but not too often. I play Minecraft quite a bit and The Sims 4 as well, I’m not really into the action games. Lol I don’t know if that was all that you were asking. This is about what I tell people when they ask what I like to do. 😋

@@winterblossom52 Minecraft is awesome. You might check out UemeU if you haven't already. I love art as well (though I'm definitely more of a musician than visual art), I love being able to compose and create. Conversations just can't due justice to the things I want to express. I'm sure you relate. I'm suddenly reminded of a friend of mine actually. Despite being very reserved, he spends a lot of time in his favorite coffee shop working on his art. His art is loud, intricate, bizzare yet satisfying... It tells a story and it makes people want to ask questions, you know? Being somewhere different can be inspiring as well. -- I noticed you're planning on uploading some Sims 4 content? I think you should go for it! Go outside your comfort zone and try and tame that perfectionist voice inside your head(I'm assuming you also have that). Allow yourself to experiment a little. Oof, it's hard for me to say that. midnight15086 I believe the perfectionism has to do with it in way. We see things that could be better or how they should be but others don't understand yet the majority of time we can't even do anything. Even in situations where the answer is obvious yet no one besides you gets it can be very frustrating. So personally, I have to just "deal with it" because in some cases there is nothing I can do and it's not very pleasant to feel powerless or useless.

@@MinniMoose1 every single human being carries with them their own set of experiences and, as a result, different outlooks on life. people come out of hard times in different ways; some come out stronger, others come out half falling apart, half trying to put the pieces of themselves together again. all i'm saying is from personal experience, and from observing other enfp's, we tend to balance the "listening attentively and understandingly" and "giving insight and opinions as form of emotional support." there could be different enfp's who lie outside of this generalization, but then again, mbti is just a bunch of stereotypes and generalizations based on various observations amirite.

Some therapists mistake this for being delusional or having referential ideation. I’ve said things like, “I know that guy would be happy to see me fail” and then the therapist looked confused and tried to tell me that I didn’t know for sure how other people were feeling. I didn’t even want to try to explain that one, so I just said that I got strong gut feelings about people that were almost always right, and that I didn’t trust the guy I mentioned.
