Also, look at the 'tiramisu' in the opening titles- it doesn't even contain chocolate at all! It's just whipped cream and lady fingers! 😱 Edit: 2:21 oh no no no. SO many things wrong with this one. 1) You do not slice tiramisu like a bloody cake 2) it's not supposed to have intricate whipped cream piping on the top, it's supposed to be covered with a heavy dusting of cocoa powder 3) mascarpone is NOT nutty. Wtf?!
@princessbanana46253 жыл бұрын
Tiramisu is known for it's coffee flavor not chocolate. There are plenty of italian chocolate desserts like torta barozzi they could have used instead. I'm not even italian lol. For australia it should have been millionaires shortbread as lamingtons aren't known to be very chocolaty and decadent but more light and airy eaten as a tea or coffee side.

As polish native, Babka and chocolate dessert is the last thing that'd come to my mind together, only occasionally it'll have additional cocoa. Jamaican here: this list needs updating Jamaica does not have a chocolate rum cake, we have a very dark fruit cake. We soak a mix of dried cherries, raisins, currants etc with J Wray and Nephew red label wine and their wine rum as well for about 11 months then we blend those fruits in the soaking mixture and add flour, and dried spices used in baking with eggs etc, what makes it so dark is a thick brown substance made from sugar that we call browning, when that's baked we use the above mentioned alcoholic beverages and soak the cake, this helps to keep it moist as well as preserve it for a long time, i love this channel can't have yall wilding with wrong information

What? Chocolate in babka? It's made only by you! If you want to try a chocolate treat, which really originates form Poland, try wuzetka. It was first made in 1949, for the opening of Warsaw's "east-west" route, which, in fact, is called "Wola Street" from Wola tram depot to Okopowa and later as ""Solidarity" Avenue" to Vilnius Street railway station). It's a chocolate cake with whipped cream inside. Another chocolate treat from Poland is chocolate bar called "Prince Polo". It's a waffle bar with cocoa bar between leaflets of wafer and chocolate topping. It's also popular in Iceland, where it arrived as response of marketing trade for arrival of Icelandic herrings into polish market.

I remember watching a video on chocolate lovers testing dark chocolate for the first time or along that shit. Lol when she said "I love dark chocolate, the darker it is the sweeter it is" uh no honey. The darker the chocolate is the more bitter it is as the cocoa content increases, that sweetness you taste in chocolate is us adding sugar in it. Can we be real ?! White chocolate is not even real chocolate, it's nothing more than cocoa butter, milk powder, sugar and flavourings

There is also a Philippine version of Champurado It's cooked chocolate sticky rice We use unsweetened cocoa powder, add it to the rice just as it's about to be fully cooked And we sweetened it with milk and sugar or evaporated milk or Condensed milk

If you guys want to try Brigadeiro, just put in a pan, 1tsp of butter, 200g of condensed milk (more like how much you want), and (+-)2 tsp of chocolate powder. Mix everything on low heat and don't stop stirring until it thickens. Then eat however you want, we top and fill cakes with it, make "truffles" whatever
