9V-SKL is 9 years old. Singapore Airlines rents its A380s on a 10 year lease. I suspect it's probably not worth cleaning up the livery when it's about to be retired.

I've been on CX100 to HK then on to Europe half a dozen times or so in the last 3 years. Those GE90s have a distinctive start up sound. I'm surprised they aren't noisier on take off from outside than they appeared to be in this video, although I suppose wind direction might have played a part, too. Might be getting older, but the 777 is an impressive sight regardless. Speaking of impressive, nothing matches the 747 in my view. There's just something about it. Elegant yet majestic. Shame they're disappearing from all but cargo roles. Nice video, thanks, brings back some memories.
