Absolutely insane game. Honestly after the grand slam I thought A&M would blow it but good on them for hanging on. I still think Texas will win the series though don’t think the A&M offense will be this good two more games in row.

I disagree. A&M was the better team for most of the game. Only reason it was close was the GS in the 6th which I’ll bet she couldn’t do again in 10 attempts

Yeeesssss!! Whooooooo!!! The Aggies showed they could do it. The defense was unusually superb! The bats were there. However, the pitcher Kennedy barely made it, and I don't know who they have to come in behind her. It maybe a luxury but most teams know they need a really good closer, too. Very few pitchers are as strong in the 7th as they were in the 1st. Was the Aggie pitcher on her best game for this one? If so, fortune was not with Texas, but A&M will need a good backup to get out of the Super Regional. One strong arm is not enough - the grand slam was the neon sign to the coaches. Texas? Was it the A&M pitcher? Or, overconfidence? We'll see. It looks like at least A&M bats are strong. Sometimes that will make up for 'good enough' pitching. Thanks, Matt, for making it happen!
