They’re all tropical or subtropical so whenever they grow well is fine. I tend to do it in summer

You sure have a lot of interesting species that you don't commonly see in the bonsai world. BTW, I killed a Schefflera this summer :). So I took it off my "hard to kill" list. 😋

Yeah I am trying out different things - wait for part 2, there is much more to come :) That’s too bad - I literally just succeeded in taking a large cutting and fusing it with another Schefflera plant without the cutting dying. Maybe you had a sickly plant? Mine have survived anything I have done to them

@@Bonsaifly Well to be fair it was a supermarket bought plant on which I performed pretty aggressive root pruning and a trunk chop. So it wasn't probably the healthiest plant and I did too much work on it :)

To be fair, indoor Bonsai is quite the science in and of itself. It’s not impossible, but it can never be everything that bonsai is. However, I started with indoor trees only and still maintain tons of these early bought trees. It’s possible to do it. I should make a an updated video

You lost me when you said it is going to be a two part plan and then wasted the entire first 90 seconds on nothing, that means after a minute and a half of a 7 minute and a half clip is too much loss of time, buddy, good luck for your future clips, just saying so you know, it's nice to be nice, and it's nice to save time, not waste it, specially when it's not your own!

Hi, first of all thanks for being civil as many of such comments are not. I do disagree with your comment somewhat as your time is yours to give and if you don’t get what you like from the content you can freely move on. The other thing I wonder at with comments such as these is that Bonsai is quite literally a science of its own with a lot of learning and careful explanation involved, not to mention the years upon years it takes to thoroughly understand even a single species of tree for its use in Bonsai. If you don’t have 90 seconds to spare, you won’t have time enough for Bonsai. That being said, I do not take your comment personally and in no way wish to discourage you from practicing bonsai. Rather than that I‘d like to encourage you to practice patience, as in Bonsai it‘ll be one of your most useful tools. All the best in your practice!
