Stefan, I just opened a new paint your own pottery studio after being in the corporate world for over 20 years, it has not been easy and as a small business with a limited budget, I been having to do most everything myself including decorating my own store windows, something I have never done before. thank you so much for starting this! i have the tendency to not letter when i "don't feel like it" so this is going to help me A LOT. i'm very glad you brought up the fact that i don't need an iPad Pro or Procreate to do this, (because i don't have one). i've been using my Samsung Tablet with Adobe Sketch app and just simply using paper. i may not get all the cheats but i think it's a good way for me to practice :) also, you have a great singing voice haha :D

the brushes provided are pretty limited in Adobe Sketch. for example i was using a blacklettering font for a piece i just finished and i had to download another app to get the brush. it's less convenient and i think it takes a bit more time in comparison to Procreate but it gets the job done :)
