After the match with hikaru a long time ago, i could say that Robert is really close to being a GM
@joannewilson6577 Жыл бұрын
Not even close it was 2 min against 5 min and that GM is only rated 2445 elo at blitz!
@JSSTyger Жыл бұрын
Im still wait8ng for the games vs Fabiano.
@mikecantreed Жыл бұрын
I don’t understand how people make GM predictions based off of blitz games. There are FMs pushing 3000 chesscom in blitz, which is higher than GMs. It’s like watching an And1 mixtape and predicting a streetball player will go pro.

Robert is an absolute animal. He shouldn’t be getting time odds against anybody. LoL great game!

He absolutely is an animal - I'm trying to figure out which one. Maybe a fox? Or a boa constrictor? Maybe a combination of both.

I love the end where neither of them cared if the pieces were on the exact square cause both knew exactly what move the other intended LOL

That had me pressing pause more than ever before. Some of yesterday’s games were even more crazy fast. Robert is amazing, and so cool to see when GMs recognize tactics from having so much experience in the game

2 min against 5 min...not fair at all!

@@joannewilson6577 How is a GM playing an IM with no time odds fair? considering how it ended i'd say the time odds did make it a little bit more fair, didn't it?
@joannewilson6577 Жыл бұрын
@@Windsouls No It didn't! This GM is 2445 in blitz and this IM they always say that he is 2400....You want the IM to look good well that is what happened....2 min against 5 is stupid when the gap in rating is not even 100 points! How come when this kid who is an IM around 2400 never get a time odd of 2 min against ALL the expert there that are ALL around 2000 USCF! -300 points compare to him..because they want to make him look good?
@Windsouls Жыл бұрын
@@joannewilson6577 Again, no need to write a bible, the end of the game says it all, it was as fair as it can get.
@Windsouls Жыл бұрын
@Joanne Wilson And i don't necessarily want any of them to look good or bad, i don't care, i don't know them at all. I've seen like 3 or 4 negative comments in this video, and all of them are from you... you are taking this way too personal.

Love a game with no banter. The pieces do the trash talking.
@elpollolocoman119 Жыл бұрын
He has good style. Plays with the matter of winning in his mind, and can see both winning and losing positions pretty well. Ofc he managed to even this game vs a GM who was forced to give back the rook. Probably he still has much to learn. I wonder if this channel can some how produce classical games. I would like the see Roberts journey.

Great stuff. I wish players had more time I hate those frantic endings I know it's part of blitz/ rapid These two would be interesting in a 10 minute game Still this is an awesome channel
