When all the "beatable" WRs get broken, the-elite should make a compilation of all the current WRs (using the run that untied the record) back to back in one video. Would be cool, maybe with a clean version and a version with commentary from each runner when available.

I disagree with goose and some community members who believe a run is unbeatable. Just about every single WR that was deemed to be unbeatable was in fact, defeated and broken. I believe with enough skill and dedication to this game, there will always be a way to go faster. The hardware is the only limitation. But see, grenading the two guards in the shack is something that literally no one thought mattered. However it was the key to success, so I believe with enough studying each level can and will continue to become faster and faster even if it takes multiple years.
@raafmaat4 жыл бұрын
@@mattsherwood eventually all possible time-gains have been used and there will be physically no possibility to gain another full second....... ofcourse right now, i think most levels can be beaten still, but most of the short levels are now getting VERY close to being maxed, it would be different if they timed using thousands of a second like in many other games, but here it has to be a FULL second time save.... especially the shorter levels just dont have much more options, but yeah, like i said, at this time , most levels can still be beaten, mind you, not all!

Given how active the Goldeneye community is and all of the improvements to their proof-checking over the years I'd be surprised if any of those assholes could survive there for any real period of time, so it's probably as healthy as they come in terms of attitude.

Here's hoping Wouter can mount a comeback eh? Even still major props to Berg for setting this record, it was insane seeing him get all those boosts down the runway.
