Great question. I will benefit indirectly from the partnership in a few different ways. Obviously when we give stuff away in videos, the channel gets additional views and engagement. Same when we do giveaways in our live streams, which Leaf will sponsor from time to time. Also, there may be some opportunities for me to do world first views in the future, which also means additional views/engagement if you're on the first on KZbin to review a product. Equally important, having one of the five biggest card manufacturers in the world in my corner, giving my channel and my opinion their stamp of approval and believing in me enough to trust me to be able to be my authentic self with these reviews is a big feather in my cap. They could have went to creators with bigger followings or more subscribers, but they chose me for who I am and what I represent. Lastly, even though I already have no problem sourcing Leaf products for my breaks from other distributors, getting it directly from the manufacturer and cutting out a middle man always makes things a bit easier as a breaker.

I appreciate your transparency in this endeavor. I’ve seen Leaf products breaks on your channel and others like ChiCity and was impressed by the look and checklists. I think Leaf has a real chance to make some noise with the new wrestling product with Stone Cold and The Rock autos. That Jim Brown auto pull was sick to behold. I’ve never seen Brown’s auto come up in a break before.

I’m a big fan of the idea of Leaf (and Wild Card). I love the fact that you can get autographs of the top names for under $200 and they do a great job of making sure that each box has a decent player in them so you never feel like you got dusted. But their sets and parallels are so confusing to the casual collector that it’s going to be very hard for them to overcome right now.

A lot of people in the hobby aren't a big fan because its "not licensed" but the fact you are able to get those big name autos, match worn or player worn patches for me makes the product bang. I would rather these at the price point then a box of donruss for example that essentially is a box full of base, "case hits" that arent even in cases and patches straight off a rack. Win win, i do have to admit though, that Bowman is my favourite product by far!

I think its a great product, as even though not licensed auto, a brock purdy auto is still a brock purdy auto. Here looks like you hit a Montana auto, and since these also have such a cool design, the ceiling is probably high for resell. Thanks for the video!

Love this! We have talked a lot before about what Leaf does in the chat and I feel like this is the perfect time for them. We already are getting less signatures (and often worthless ones anyway) in Panini products as well as non used memorabilia. I like the low numbered parallels of my favorite players in those sets, and have always collected autos because I like the fact that player signed it. I started collecting celebrity autos via the mail in high school. As much as maybe you don’t like pickleball sets etc, I think Leaf does a wonderful job of brining fans autos they could never get through these sets. I have almost the entire PBA league set and those were my most excited rips all year! What I love the most about this collaboration is that, as much as I love leaf, they have a lot of room to grow. Tons of parallels that differ so minimally. Lots of room for card design improvement (they have been improving). I know your suggestions will push this brand even further and they were smart to reach out to you. Congrats RGL

I think it's fun. Higher floor. Limited collectibility due to lack of team licensing but a Jim Brown auto will always be desirable. Cool stuff.

I agree 💯. The checklist is fire, although sticker autos, Leaf always brings it. The colored parallels are a bit exhausting. I'd prefer different subsets rather than 10 or more different colored parallels of the same card.

Only thing I REALLY dislike is that there's no real "pack" to rip.. if that makes sense, nothing beats that feeling. Besides that, cool set with a cool check list!

I saw a little while back that the ownership had changed with Leaf. It looks like they are taking steps into the right direction. You could essentially be the pioneer to a new era by reviewing and critiquing these products. Great video! The cards look great. I rip a lot of soccer products, so hopefully your reviews will trickle down across all leaf sports/trading card products. Hopefully you get to rip and review Leaf Ultimate Soccer as well as the Leaf Trinity Soccer. From the pictures, they look like they could be great products!

I really like the cards and the fact that it’s all hit and that’s it. I agree the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. One touch cases would be a lot nicer and maybe a more sturdy holder to where the cards don’t move around. My interest and intrigue with Leaf has continued to grow. Decadence is a crazy set, this looks like a fun set as well. They make good looking cards. I do agree with you on the low numbered cards, they are watered down if the same player has 10 different cards /10, /25, /5 etc. I would prefer to see a chrome set that would also have some big auto chases. I'd be buying at panini/topps retail level price points and packages if they were available at regular retail outlets. I would love to see a company take a jersey and make that one jersey into multiple different numbered cards based on the patch itself. So single color napkin is /xxxx, 2 color /xxx, tri color /xx, team logo /x, logo man /1...something like that.

Great video! I like the Leaf products and the Wild Card stuff. I bit Bowman U when I can find it. I feel I can get a better chance at a bigger players auto than I can in a Prizm or Donruss box. Logos don’t matter to me. Love looking for legends autos. Thanks for sharing!

Good stuff. I really like that Jim Brown auto. I paid to meet him and to autograph a helmet for me in 2012 . My favorite piece of my collection by far. The man is legend. RIP. I don't mind the Leaf packaging but then again, I'm not a breaker. I prefer licensed product but I collect it all and this product looks pretty good. Thanks for sharing!!

If I’m looking to collect for my specific hometown teams I still prefer the licensed cards…..I do really like the multi sport leaf cards especially when you can get Messi, Curry, Tyson, Nadal. A HOF player auto is great in any format.

Cards were always about collecting the players to me, so the lack of logos never bugged me. I'll open whatever product has the players I like and am gunning for. Don't always open Leaf but always a fun time when I do, their all auto sets usually look great (Eclectic, Metal, etc.), and sets like Trinity have incredible patches as well.

I really like Leaf & Wild Card. I feel like they make really beautiful cards but just don’t have the license for teams. The fact that you can pull guys that don’t sign with Panini is icing on the cake. I think your second box was nice with the Jim Brown auto. Would love to pull a PC Burrow auto from this. I love leaf cards. One of my favorite PC cards is actually pro set by leaf.. Triple threats auto of Tyson/Mayweather/Khabib.. I’ve bought Leaf singles and boxes for the value. The licensed logos are a plus, but most times I’m really looking for the person. Even if I don’t hit cards for the pc from boxes, I don’t feel like I threw away so much $ like I do with panini products. Most importantly, thank you RGL for staying true!

I like the leaf products. Yes it does make it a little rough for breakers to hide the reveal but when you're just a collector like I am it doesn't matter. I like the look of the wild cards the most so far. But hey you can't beat the price for four autos compared to maybe getting one auto if you're lucky from Panini products. Appreciate the opportunity! Just so happened to buy my first ever unlicensed card about a month ago and it was Leaf. It’s a dual auto for my PC with two popular HOF veterans-something I could never afford if it were a Panini card. I had always stayed away from unlicensed product, but I couldn’t be happier with it.

An autograph is an autograph. It can be on a napkin or on a card with logos or a card with no logos. The value is in how often they sign like you said, Montana verses Brown. Good looking design. Price point seems reasonable

Listen ill be 💯 percent with u... I'm sure as others people feel also the only down fall I feel with leaf is the issue of not being license... Alot of the time the cards don't really hold there value and they just don't look good... But honestly the past couple of years I've been seeing a lot bigger names in the produce n not to mention the fact that the cards in general really look a lot better... Not to mention u don't have to waste a few thousand on a product to get some big auto u can spend 150-200... In all honestly this yes design is really cool...

I like the format of 4 guaranteed autographs, considering the times we’ve all been Paninied with no auto in a hobby box or only Panini points. I’ve never seen a Jim Brown auto, and with his passing, we won’t see anymore. Awesome card.

I enjoy seeing more companies with skin in the game when it comes to sports card products. It’s nice to see diversity in the hobby even if some of the companies aren’t as heavily liked. I rather enjoy opening some of the higher end Wild Card and Leaf products. Some of the college sets like Bowman University have been growing on me as well, although I don’t really know the players as much.
