This is the only video that has not misspelled kumusta. It just shows you that removing Pilipino in the college curriculum is a bad idea.
@TalkToMeInTagalog5 жыл бұрын
Hello, M M! Thanks for your comment. Yeah, my eyes and ears also hurt whenever I see/hear fellow Filipinos say "kAmusta?" because our textbooks taught us "kUmusta?" 😞 I totally agree with you that the subject Pilipino should remain in our school curriculum because many are thinking that what the young ones hear from some TV hosts in Manila who popularized the use of "kaka" to form the past tense of Filipino verbs is the standard conjugation. I cringe everytime I hear "kakagaling, kakadating, kakaalis" and other "kaka---" 😏 Salamat, M M. 💗🇵🇭

I think it's better to hear the Tagalog spoken only. It's better for listening practice and it helps you become fluent in the new language faster. When you mix English and Tagalog together, it just becomes a practice in translation but you don't really learn the new language.

Bahala ka and ewan ko sayo is the same meaning and halika dito is same like punta ka dito? And is it the same if I say: gusto ko ng unan or gusto ko ng isang unan? And is it the same if I ask: Ok lang ka ba? or: Ok ka lang ba? Kailangan ko ng tulong please, so I can improve every day a little. Thanks.
@TalkToMeInTagalog5 жыл бұрын
Hi, Kaninchen321! "Bahala ka" is used when you are letting the person decide for himself while "Ewan ko sa 'yo" is when you're already annoyed to the point of giving up on the topic and all you want is just to end the conversation. It's like saying "do whatever you want or as you please." As for the third phrase, the correct way to ask if someone's ok is "Okay ka lang ba?" Good luck, Kaninchen321. I'm sure you can do it! 😊😊😊

"Ano pong maipaglilingkod ko sa inyo?" ang phrase. Pero pasensya ka na. May misunderstanding. your tagalog is wrong, pasensiyá patience Wala na akong pasensiyá. I’ve run out of patience. even in Spanish that word mean patience
@TalkToMeInTagalog6 жыл бұрын
Hi, Gerard! While the word pasensiya (also spelled pasensya) means patience or one's capacity to tolerate delays or problems, it takes on a different meaning when used in the phrase "Pasensya ka na." It becomes a casual way to apologize to someone about something. Example 1: "Pasensya ka na, Gerard, (I'm sorry, Gerard) it took me an hour to respond to you." Your example above is perfectly used in situations where you tell someone that you don't have the patience to allow or accept something anymore. Example 2: "Wala akong pasensiya maghintay." (I don't have the patience to wait.) Salamat po for taking the time to watch and comment. 😊
