I'm happy to hear from you again, SuperTalkCam! I'll continue giving as many examples as I could in my future videos because there are times when grammatical rules in Tagalog are best illustrated and explained through examples. Cheers! 🌷🌷🌷

Your videos are seriously helping me so much, my parents had a conversation yesterday in Tagalog and I understood it, if I didn’t watch you I would have not the much knowledge on what they were saying. I’m going to the Philippines in 2 and a half months and I hope to understand most of what my relatives say to me! Salamat po! The only thing I’m really having trouble on is when I should say words like “ng, nang, mga, young (yung?), and sa.
@TalkToMeInTagalog5 жыл бұрын
Hello, Madison E! I'm so thrilled to know that you can now relate to what your parents are saying in Tagalog. 😍 I posted a video regarding the short Ng and the long Nang 3 weeks ago. There's also a video called "Tagalog Linkers" where Ng is also discussed. Kindly check them out. As for the word "mga", I'll make a short video about it, hopefully before you travel to the Philippines 😅. It is basically used to form the plural form of nouns. For example: Kaibigan (singular = friend) to make the plural form friends, just add "mga" before kaibigan --> mga kaibigan "Yon" or "Yun" is the contracted form of "iyon" which means "that" but in spoken Tagalog, it becomes "Yung" and is often used as a filler like the English "Um" and "Uh". For example: Q: Ano'ng hinahanap mo? (What are you looking for?) A: Yung itim kong bag. [(That) my black bag.] = Um, my black bag? I'll include this in my future videos. Maraming salamat, Madison E! Cheers! 😍😍😍

I agree. Videos on NG and Mga would help, even if they are 30 minutes long.

Woww, I'm Indonesian and surprised how we have the same sense about a daily spoken phrase implies "it's already late", "Sudah jam berapa ini?" with unique intonation. It literally means "Already what time is it now? Anyways maraming salamat po for your great explanation. Looking for the other lessons ^^

Maraming salamat foreverything your channel does :) you help me a lot. I am trying to learn tagalog because my fiance is filipino and lives there right now. I was wondering if you could put a suggestion of mine on the list of future videos to come. (Because i'm subbed so forsure i will see all of them hehe) But could you please clarify more on sentence structure and what kind of words go where. Obviously it's hard to piece sentences in your language together i would love to come across an in depth video on sentence structure! Thank u po!❤
@TalkToMeInTagalog5 жыл бұрын
Hello, megAnNayo! Thanks a lot for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it. ❤❤❤ I used to think that Tagalog is really easy to teach since it's my native language but I have now realized that preparing lessons that are simple and less burdensome for viewers is a bit a challenging due to the absence of research materials. 😃 But I will continue to upload videos until I cover all Filipino words and grammar rules. I will also incorporate sentence structures in my future videos. It might take time though because I'm doing this only on my free time so please bear with me. 😃 Maraming salamat po for subscribing to my channel. I'm sure your fiance will be the happiest if the two of you could talk to each other in Tagalog. Cheers! ❤

Good luck getting some peace and quiet in the Philippines. Noisiest people on earth!!! My neighbors let their dogs bark all night long and often slaughter pigs right outside my window at 2:30 in the morning. No consideration. I think the appropriate term here is "hindi sibilisado"

I think you're out of place there, better get out of there and move to an exclusive subdivision where it's quiet and peaceful just like a solitary confinement.
