I agree with your feedback man! I love mine but the pouches suck, I have superglued one shut as it won’t stay closed. I also wish they had a stand for the spare head. With the ears on the cowl, mine were bent in too but I lightly bent them and now they are perfect. The piece of the chest armour that holds the cape pissed me off too as it won’t sit flush with the cape in.

I’m so glad I picked this up. I absolutely love it. I didn’t have too much trouble with the pouches, but I’m shocked you didn’t comment on the cape attachment that’s probably the biggest issue with this piece. As far as the movie, I love it. The audio they play every time he’s coming into the scene is chilling. It’s so good.

I would have liked an option to hold the cowl when using the unmasked portrait. I think the fabric cape looks great, really like how it looks, at first I wasn’t sure if it was sculpted or not.

Great likeness based on an amazing movie. Just watched it again recently, still not a fan of the last 20min but everything else is incredible. Best Gotham depiction, city felt real and side characters had a lot of depth.

I totally agree with everything you said about The Batman. I think it's the best Batman movie, back to him being a detective, dark and gritty and based in the real world. Everything they did in this movie was nailed and Pattinson was terrific in the role. I have him right there with Keaton as my favorite actors to play the role and can't wait to see the next one.

They did a good job on this apart from the few issues you mentioned. I originally thought that tape on the base may be heat wrap/tape for the turbo pipes on the batmobile part, but now I see your closeups it is duct tape and does look a bit odd. Overall, I think I prefer the JND, but for most people the price difference is hard to justify. I did see him on sale for Black Friday, so may wait for another deal later on. This version of Bats has grown on me, initially didn't think much of the movie or his portrayal, but subsequent viewings have endeared it to me a bit more.

I just watched this movie for the first time last week! One of the better Batman movies, #2 for me. It was far better than expected and Battinson did much better than expected, great. He doesn't entirely sell Batman for me, but i liked him in the role. The usage of Nirvana in the movie was awesome. Good looking statue overall, likeness is great.

The movie was great for a Batman begins type story line. He is young and still green, learning from his mistakes as he goes along. This sculpt definitely captures the feel and look of the movie. For the price, It would have been nice to have a separate bust type stand to put the portrait your not using. Very nicely done sculpt with many switchout options for the hands. It does make it seem like a oversized Hot Toys piece but impressive nonetheless. Congratulations on getting it and thank you for sharing it with us.

What is cool, is that every Batman is different, portrayed different by alternate actors. I got the PVC statue that came out after the movie, I have it on a high shelf, so he's looking down scanning the city for baddies. I think thats a fine representation of the character so it's all good. As far as selling statues, I had a pretty good collection of those PVC's and I just sold most of them in January....did I make any money...not really, but am I glad they are out of the house and gone, Yes very much so.

I now collect anime PVC figures, mostly 1/7 & 1/6, I’m also still collecting Prime1 Berserk statues and Demon Slayer resins, but I’m focusing more on the PVC now. They’re just excellent quality and the paint is actually better than resins, but the prices are getting expensive now too.

Battinson is my favorite Batman movie, Batfleck is the most comic accurate in terms of look and fighting skills. Then, the Nolan Verse is more of a cinematic masterpiece than an actual Batman movie: You can replace the Batman character with a different hero or character like James Bond and it still works.

love the movie. i think it is the closest thing to what batman was supposed to be.. detective comics...right? the worlds greatest detective. i think they really went back to those roots in the movie and he is also a kick ass brawler. i really like the statue and really wanted to add it to my collection but just havent had the funds so i dont know if i will ever get it. i think the jnd piece is very well done as well. if i was ever able that would be the one i would truly want. never know, maybe one day.

Thanks for review, I love this batman costume even though I thought the movie was the definition of total boredom. This statue looks fine even though the pricing is ridiculous. The unmasked likeness is not that great but I doubt many would display it (I like the hair though), and the cowl is good (but those bent ears look hilarious). I have the JND which is way better (not just because of the silicone) and it is even more overpriced. If you have money I would go for the JND without hesitation. It's one of the most detailed sculpt I have ever seen (compared to Prime 1, XM, SS and other JND statues). If the $800 difference is an issue, then this P1 Blitzway coop is certainly not a bad option.

agreed The Batman is slightly, and I say slightlyyyy better than TDK due to it being authentic to the comic books and animated series. This feels like a Batman film about BATMAN. None of the others really felt like a full-fledged Batman flick. And the state is superb, have mine and it's beautiful in hand.

I was super fortunate to get him a long with prime 1 1/3 dark knight returns from a guy on FB marketplace for 1000 flat!!! The guy basically gave them away to me I was so fortunate When I unboxed Pattinson I was even more shocked that I basically got him for 500 bucks he’s soooooo good! Loved the Batman and stoked to have him in my collection

I did not like the movie at first. I thought it was a bit to long. However now that I have seen it multiple times I have changed my mind. I would get the statue of him as Batman on the motorcycle from Sideshow it looks amazing. This one is great looking also but only have funds for one.

The Nolan Batman movies made the Tim Burton Batman movies look like silly cartoony movies in the realism category. But just when you thought it couldn’t be topped, The Batman made the NOLAN Batmans ALSO look like silly cartoony movies by realism comparison…and I loved every minute. (The Dark Knight & Batman Returns are still THEE best Batman films though).

It got a lot of backlash because of the base, but everything else about the statue and details are so much better on the Queen Studio variant. I think you got a great piece for an expensive ticket, but it's a quality piece no doubt. I watched the film twice and really liked it; not as good as TDK but it's really close. But honestly, if I had money, like, a Lot of money, i would comission a real size Batmobile (the one in this film) just to have it in my garage. It's a real beast and i wouldnt mind waking up the neighbors just to listen to that engine ROOOOAAAAAR time and again, and then drop the hammer on the highway at the sound of Steppenwolf😀

I still haven’t watched this movie, probably never will, but there’s absolutely no way it’s better than The Dark Knight, that’s the best superhero movie ever made. And I don’t think superhero movies should be made to line up with real life, they’re comics based movies and are ridiculous if you try to place them in a fully real world. Like a grapple gun is never going to work in real life, shooting it and having it actually grab on and hold will never work. But Prime1 did a great job as usual.

I disagree. I think it is worth the price tag. I have an alita Deluxe statue for $1200 but the likeness is nothing compared to this one. Especially with the face swaps. Also the lighting effects on the battinson seem displayable compared to the figures I own. Amazing piece 5/5 in my opinion. I'm going to save my pennies hopefully someone will sell there's or be willing to trade for my alita lol.

I think it's good that fans are fussy. They want to see justice done with their heroes. 95 times out of 100 the fans will be right. Robert Pattinson being famous from Twilight wasn't the best interview for fans, but I didn't judge much beforehand and I think he was okay. Batman is supposed to be cool and smart and like many heroes you want to be him. It was probably more the script/director but the portrayal was more like a tragic violent emo. I mean sure that's Batman too but I found the movie boring and I think I fell asleep. I like Michael Keaton/Tim Burton the most and probably Ben Affleck second but the combination is so important. Would have been interesting to see adult Ben Affleck in those Tim Burton movies. 1/3 scale is just too big I think, imo I think 1/4 is the sweet spot or go all in for life size.

I fail to see what's good about this statue. For the price, it's full of QC issues. You didn't mention it but the cape prevents the part above the bat symbol to correctly stay in place. The HS is a downgrade compared to the prototype (a massive one) The ears on the cowl are in pvc and they all arrived bent instead of being straight. You mention the pouch that can't be closed with the adrenaline shots inside. The right hand is way too close to the holster and almost touch the gun depending the hand you're using. For the price it's shitty. Prime 1 became lazy and it's just a cash grab now. Anyway thanks for the review
