the lean angle calculated is quite pointless in my opinion. there are too many variables - tyres, road conditions, suspension setup, overall rider confidence/skill, and how the bike itself feels to you. the last one is important because, lets say for example, you are more comfortable and your body is better suited to the gixxer than the pulsar, so obviously you will be able to push the gixxer more than the pulsar. using an app to determine the winner seems gimmicky

@skarrin6207 Жыл бұрын
U answered yourself, if the suspension setup is soft rider will feel the liniting factor. The only variable is tyre grip, which differs according to the rubber quality, tyre profile etc. It is indeed useful to compare them on the same road as u will see the handling difference across bikes and also the good and ugly with the stock tyres, realistically not many change to a costlier tyre right out of the showroom

@@skarrin6207thats my point, the app is useless. the app cannot determine the suspension setup or how the tyre grips or how confident the rider is. the cornering test is great, but using the app to make the final answer is gimmicky

@@apolloxlix679 If the same rider tries all biies and gets different bikes then I think the difference in lean angles is a direct measure of how confident the bike felt to that particular rider, if u change the rider the lean angles may shift but the relative standings will remain very similar.

@jayantparihar9990 Жыл бұрын
There are a few aspects in the comparison that are slightly biased! Clearly the use of 7000+ km driven apache will affect its score in cornering and comfort due to worn out tyres. And also it's technically apache the more efficient bike considering the fact that it has 4 valves in its piston head whereas the other bikes don't therefore it gives more low end torque and better mid range in city traffic so ultimately it's it's efficiency of 47 in city is as good as 51 or 52 of other competitors. Considering these odds Apache stands the clear winner!!!
@anasthakur3244 Жыл бұрын
Bro , Pulsar is not getting sales as per expectations so they sponsored Zigwheels😂 . The braking test was clearly baised as rear tyre of pulsar was in air which is not ideal braking condition and lean angle on apache is better as compared to pulsar + The fuel efficiency of Apache is better as compared to pulsar .
@JayanandSupali Жыл бұрын
Absolutely loved this review. Its as an all round review that I have never seen anyone make till date except for that suspension testing which was done on literally an off road course with a guy hiding the container. His hand itself was acting as a suspension to counter the kickback from the bumps. The light spread test was something I really loved cos good light especially in this era where one has proprietary LED lights, is highly essential to know. Like old times, One just can't change to brighter bulb and get away with it. And yes its a shame to see that the Japanese bikes have devolved into such uninteresting bikes. I still ride the original FZ16 the one that started this trend and i love it. Now if it's not yo much to ask, can you people make the same kinda comparison video with 250cc bikes.
@ashiqurrahman6935 Жыл бұрын
Inclusion of xblade and NS160 would make the complete comparison. Also should consider Fzx v3 instead of Fzx.
@anasthakur3244 Жыл бұрын
The first two tests were sponsered by Bajaj clearly as the rear wheel of pulsar was lifted so much that no rider is going to do the same in real life so the breaking distance of 33 meters is completely false and the next is using old apache in lean test .. I'm from my experience can say that lean angle on apache is clearly much better due to combination of suspension and tyres itself. This type of Cheating in test was not expected by Zigwheels.

This is the problem with youtube reviewers. They think comfort and mileage are not as important as power or features or handling. However handling is a matter of getting used to, people go 100+ on corners with a bobber once they are used to it. Secondly power depends on your riding style, I have seen splendors going full throttle and overtaking KTMs. If you are a enthusiast you will know how to extract and use power from any machine. But what you cannot change without spending a fortune is the seating position, handlebar position, peace of mind that you can abuse the bike and it will not break and many things like that, which very few youtube reviewers talk about.

In my opinion, this assessment is a little sloppy, and the comparison of the equipment lists is absurd. They are using a TVS with worn tyres which impact handling and braking. According to the reviewer, they preferred the FZ-S to the FZ-X. FZ-X is more geared towards retro vibe so don't fit in this sporty commuter character that well. Dual channel ABS and a USB charger are both listed as having the same value under equipment.

@@suvrasinha5751 lol. I own the gen-1 RTR160 for which I recently got the FC renewed as I just can't let it go. The inspection officer found it hard to believe its 15 years old. Ofcourse I service it religiously once a year and that's the bare minimum one should do. All my friends who got pulsars back then(2007), got ride of their bikes by 2017/18 max as the maintenance was too much & they weren't as reliable anymore. The pulsars that you feel are 10+ year old are actually maybe 4-5 year old because they didn't change the design since mid 2000s till like 2021/22 😄

Lean angle test was a very interesting thing, did you swap riders between bikes ? The FZX is a joke, thanks so much for including it, good entertainment, possibly one of the ugliest designs ever to come out. Gixxer too is painfully outdated. I wouldn't trust a Bajaj product no matter how good they look & how premium it feels, when new, they often degrade very quickly especially the engine & basic electronics like instrument console. Very surprised with Hero, excited to see the new bikes they are bringing. The now 4-year old RTR 160 4V looks to be an overall better package than all of these bikes & that's really saying something, I do miss the old headlight design, the new one looks very odd.

I was happily living with my 2014 Bajaj Avenger 220 DTSi until I got laid off last year and started a freelance gig from home. I didn't ride much during this time and thought I'd sell my Avenger and buy a scooter which is a convenient option for getting groceries and because my wife could ride it as well, so I got a Hero Maestro Edge. But lately, I've been missing my Avenger and I just got a job in a school in a village 25 km away from my home, so I'm thinking of getting a second hand bike with good mileage under ₹30,000. Any suggestions you guys have?

It is a most refined engine you can experience than any other 160 cc segment. I have been using xblade for 2 years. A very good city commute and also a touring can be done easily as seat comfort and mileage you can expect around 47 to 50. I'm enjoying this machine so, I highly recommend.

I dont jeed bluetooth because i have smartwatch for notifications usb charging is provided in bike which is important and dual channel abs is best , looks are so damn good, people will ignore apache if both are placed at same place, 55+ mileage in city with premium petrol,pickup is good but after 4000rpm you can feel the real power the beast mode. Bike feels little heavy as compare to others and handling is little bit heavier side
