If the contractor messes up and it cost you money hold the shipment hostage until they pay you all the money or you can sell the steel and get your cash that way. Don’t let’s them lie to you hold them accountable. You’re there to make a living.

Start out friendly, but upset. People start off yelling. Thing is nobody wants to go out of way to help you. You’re being friendly. Others are more willing to help out. Liability is the enemy of efficiency

Either way if you would of taken back to shipper, in hopes that is not weekend because they would of also been closed untill monday. What does a carrier do there? Its annoying going back and forth with a broker in regards to more pay, sometimes pay that the shipper does pay but the broker dont pass ot on to carrier.
