His son is married to daughter of Ex Chief justice Iftikhar chaudhry. my father died nd many other affectees died. now NAB is giving back only basic payment after 18 years nd that too in installments. Kindly in Canada goverment file case against Murtaza Amjad of eden Lahore and their family.

Hoa aisa k last seller se staff k kisi ne paisay le kr usay noc de dya aur us ne hamein plot sale kr dya. Us k kuch paisay bch gay aur kuch paisay staff member ko mil gay aur akhir mujhay wo 1lac/20 hazr deposit karwana paray. Pata nahi enquiry hoi na hoi hamaray sath najaiz ho gai.

It is a bitter reality of all these societies in Pakistan. My wife is from Pakistan and she had purchased one plot in Adiala area Rwp. Few months back when we went to see it there was no plot . Similarly DHA plot. We havecsimilar letter as shown by Asher saheb. When we tried to take possession we found this plot number does not exist. We live in Srinagar and it is not possible to follow from here 😭

In 2005 when my father got a random plot somewhere on the outskirts of Islamabad, not in any large scale development with nothing around it, we were very angry at him and asked him why he didn't just get a plot in Bahria Town which at the time was being sold to Pakistanis as the dream. He warned us to not ever touch Bahria town with a 10 ft pole even and just wait and see what happens to it. Although a lot of people did get their due plots in Bahria town and are living comfortably there, even then the entire community is beholden to the will of the Bahria town admin, to the extent that despite owning the land they are living in a place that can randomly change laws rules and regulations on them on a whim with nothing to fall back on, as the admin then uses its retired forces employees to harass and intimidate the residents into silence.
