I've mixed metallics, but I don't think I've ever thought to mix a silver with just a hint of gold. But it looks like it was a great idea!

Hi, I've been struggling with the ratio for Liquitex Pouring Medium and water, I use Liquitex basics as my paint and I'm just not able to get it right, my paint turns a little muddy, could you please help me with your ratio as you seem to have nailed the consistency, appreciate your response :)

I don't have a set recipe/ratios - I do all my mixing by eye/feel and based on my own experience and that means that it changes for different brands and sometimes even different colours in the same brand range. I am putting together a video at the moment that deals with every aspect of pouring from start to finish and there's a section which deals with mixing/viscosity etc that you will probably find useful.
